Numata (沼田 ,Numata^?) is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background

Numata is a police officer working for Tokyo Metropolitan Police District's Traffic Department. She is very friendly with Naeko, so much so that she often pushes her to take initiatives in her love story with Chiba. She entered police forces at the same time as her superior Yumi and is in charge of Beika Town. She owns a license to drive the mini patrol car although she doesn't drive it, preferring to let her more experienced friend Yumi drive.

Personality

She is rather open to her co-workers and friends' speeches and doesn't reply unless she has to. She also encourages her friends to take initiatives since she herself doesn't have a boyfriend.
