She is Misao Yamamura's paternal grandmother who sometimes get involved in cases he is working on and who lives really close to him. She likes car pursuit live action movies and The Maple Leaves of Winter like her son but she could never believe he'd become a detective. She has the same postal code as the boss and lives in Gunma in a modest house. She is still active and in shape although being old. She likes to go to theme parks and shopping streets with her son.
Misae is a daredevil woman since she accepted the silver witch's invitation to compete against her and pursued her until sit disappeared in the sky. She likes TV dramas and F1 racing.
Misae is an old person having age spots and wrinkles. Her gray hair is in a bob cut hairstyle. She is shorter than her son who is already short and always wear kimonos or robes.
Misae recommanded his grandson a tv drama named "The Maple Leaves of Winter" whom Misao became quick a fan and couldn't let go.
Misae's grandson stopped people at a road block to try to stop the silver witch, a woman who rides a white mazda FD and asks people to compete with her in a drag race and reveals that his grandmother had raced against her but stopped as she went in the air with her car.
Non-canon plot overview
She appears in Miracle Land while Takagi and Sato are chatting in the theme park's cafe while she talks with her grandson Misao in the Theme Park. She was likely evacued later with the other visitors after there was a bomb alert.
Misao Yamamura is her grandson. They are very close. She lives in the Tottori prefecture, and he often talks about calling or visiting her. They seem to have the same interests: she recommended a romantic drama to Misao which later captivated him. Each time her son finishes a case, he emails her of calls her to reassure her and inform her. She drives better than her grandson.
Yamamura's name comes from mystery writer Misa Yamamura just like her grandson's name.
