Ginshiro Toyama (遠山 銀司郎 ,Tōyama Ginshirō?), also known as Chief Thomas in the Funimation dub, is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background
Ginshiro Toyama is the Chief Criminal Investigator in the Osaka police district and close friends with the police chief, Heizo Hattori. It is due to their friendship that his daughter, Kazuha, met Heizo's son, Heiji. His wife is 43-year-old.
Personality
He is a loving father who cares for his daughter and is protective of her, like when Heiji yelled at her he glared at him until the boy started talk politely. He also thinks Heiji is good man for her daughter. He is close friend with Heiji's father. He also cares for his subordinate like when one of his men murdered some people for revenge, a man which hadn't still been murdered and was saved tried to hit him, but he protected him and said he is still his men.[2]
