Yuminaga (弓長 ), better known as Inspector Yuminaga (弓長警部 Yuminaga-keibu), is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background
Inspector Yuminaga is in the Arson department and deals with arson. Kogoro Mouri, who was his subordinate at some point, nicknamed him "fiery old fossil".
Personality
Yuminaga, like most other inspectors, trusts and listen to Conan Edogawa's deductions.
Yuminaga has gotten angry at a man that burnt down an apartment because "I thought resetting it would fix it". He angrily mentions that the culprit, in one day, destroyed a lifetime of memories of a family.
