In the Chinese mainland, the Changchun Publishing House (长春出版社，Chángchūn chūbǎn shè) is reponsible for publishing the Detective Conan manga. Located in Jilin Province, they opened in 1988 and started publishing Detective Conan in 2002. They own all rights to the manga in China and are state owned. In 2020, they updated the covers of each volume and re-released them.
