The organization had grasped the fact and planned to get rid of him shortly. However, he was first stabbed to death by Kazuki Honjou, blaming him and other six guests to take up a space in the final elevator that were able to escape the fire that killed his beloved younger sister at a business hotel in Kyoto on the night of Tanabata two years ago. The elevator could only hold seven, but eight people needed to escape and he was one of these. Nanako Honjo, a twenty-three years old woman, voluntarily stepped out the elevator and died due smoke inhalation.

Masaaki Okakura (岡倉 政明[1] Okakura Masaaki?) is a minor non-canon Black Organization member.

Masaaki Okakura is a minor Black Organization agent, disguised as an ordinary parliamentary secretary, very suitable for a NOC sent by the organization to inquire about senior government officials information as a civilian. He is from Tokorozawa, Saitama. Haibara didn't know him. He carried a memory card containing their entire NOC list, perhaps seeking some sort of insurance.
