The receptionists of the hotel suggested to them one interesting place, so they decided to give it a visit. There, the Detective Boys perceive this location as the best place for stargazing if fogs aren’t present, too bad Conan is unable to witness this scenery because he planned to spend the night reading the newly-published novel before checking in at the hotel in the next day with Ran, Sonoko, Masumi, and Kogoro. The weather shows signs of a potential rain, so Agasa suggests everyone go back to the hotel for a hot spring. Suddenly, on the road behind them, which is not used often because there is a better one around, a headless driver on a black motorcycle appears, terrifying the Detective Boys and making them unable to sleep for the rest of the night. The situation is then informed to Conan.

The next day, [[Masumi Sera|Masumi]] is driving her motorcycle to the hotel in Hakone, while [[Kogoro Mouri|Kogoro]] is taking [[Sonoko Suzuki|Sonoko]] and his children with a hired car to there as well. Today is also the day the newest model of the police patrol motorcycle will be announced. Kiriko Ryuzato, who announced her retirement four years ago but returned after three years of retirement, will have a talk with the audience of the announcement ceremony along with Kazuaki Omae, engineer of an automobile manufacturer and developer of the police motorcycle "Angel".
Suddenly, Kogoro hears continuous motorcycle honks. Behind them is a yellow motorcycle, driven by a man taking a woman, beeping nonstop while weaving in and out as if he was a professional. He also tries to cross between a car and a truck, causing one of the car’s rearview mirrors to crash down onto a black car behind. The impact causes the black car to be unable to navigate properly, forcing Kogoro to hit the brake so as to avoid an accident. Everyone in the car is alright with the seatbelt, and [[Conan Edogawa|Conan]] climbs onto the roof of the car to see what is going on. He sees a black motorcycle fitting the description told by the Detective Boys, which almost perform a crash landing with Masumi’s motorcycle, and then the Kanagawa police pursuing the said motorcycle.

The black motorcycle tries to turn left despite the crosswalkers and a big truck coming, the driver of that truck is forced to slam onto his brake. Chihaya, having assessed the situation and having experience in such cases, decides to save the girl that is going to be hit.

Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway (名探偵コナン ハイウェイの堕(だ)天(てん)使(し) Meitantei Konan: Haiwei no Datenshi?) is the 29th movie in the Detective Conan franchise. It is released in Japan on April 10, 2026 and it's directed by Takahiro Hasui and written by Takahiro Okura. The movie have its pre-story tie-in episode, The Cosplay Rider of the Wind.

The movie is about the mysterious and uncontrollable "black bike" appearing in Yokohama, with Chihaya trying to capture it. As with white bike named "Angel" being showcased in the Kanagawa Motorcycle Festival that Conan, Ran, Sonoko, Kogoro and Masumi attends to, more reports appears about this mysterious "black bike" causing trouble with Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, giving the name "Black Angel/Lucifer". It's up to Conan and Chihaya to discover their motivation and their identity.[1]
