Megumi Hayashibara (林原 めぐみ Hayashibara Megumi), born March 30, 1967 in Kita, Tokyo, is a seiyu, singer, and writer.
In Detective Conan, she is the voice of Ai Haibara/Shiho Miyano. She also voices Elena Miyano from episode 953 onwards, and Akako Koizumi from Magic Kaito only in episode 219 and OVA 1. One of the most famous voice actresses in the world, she has performed the theme songs for many anime, even a few she did not star in.

- Several of Hayashibara's roles have been dubbed into English by Brina Palencia, including Ai Haibara, as well as Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Though in the case of the latter, Palencia only voiced the character in the film remakes.
- Additionally, Hayashibara's other character, Yui Ikari, was dubbed by Stephanie Young.
