Shin Samurai-den Yaiba (真･侍伝 YAIBA True Samurai Legend Yaiba), known in English as Yaiba: Samurai Legend, is the second anime adaptation based off the original YAIBA manga by Gosho Aoyama, who also supervises its script.
It is produced by WIT Studio, as in celebration of Detective Conan's 30th year of manga serialization. The first season premiered on April 5 to September 27, 2025, and aired every Saturday at 5:30 pm JST in Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV, right before Detective Conan as part of the "Gosho Aoyama Hour" programming block (this was also the timeslot for Magic Kaito 1412). The first three episodes had early screenings at ten Toho Cinemas locations on March 13, 2025.
