Manga to anime changes

  • The scene where Yaiba mistaken Mount Bandai as Mount Fuji is not adapted.
  • The new anime made the camping scenes longer, with new conversation of how their focus is Dragon God Orb and the fact that Onimaru's influence have slowed down their journey.
  • Unlike in manga, Kerokichi doesn't come out of the Dark Orb, thus he isn't forced to tell Onimaru about the Dragon God Orb. Instead, Kumo-Otoko gathers the information using his gadget.
  • In manga, Onimaru meet Yaiba outside using some kind of flying vehicle. In anime, it is replaced with a jetpack.
  • The anime adds the scene where Musashi wondering about Yaiba whereabouts, before Nadeshiko breaks into male bathroom to warn the group that they have been trapped. In exchange, the scene where Musashi and others relaxing in the bathhouse while Yaiba is fighthing Onimaru is not adapted.
  • In new anime, Kumo-Otoko manage to escape before Onimaru use Tatsumaki-giri on the flying bathhouse. In manga, Yaiba prevented him from escaping, and he end up injured after the flying bathhouse crashed into Onimaru Castle. This also make the scene where Onimaru wondering how Kumo-Otoko is still alive after the crash is not adapted.
  • The scene which depicts Tatsumaki-giri's ability to drill through the earth is not adapted.
  • Because there is no Kerokichi who told the group about the garbage disposal, the anime version make them find it by themselves.
  • The anime version of the door to Dragon God Orb test is much more bigger compared to manga version.
