Manga to anime changes

• Some scenes not adapted in new anime:

• Yaiba's group travelling from Hokkaido to Aomori, with Yaiba using Ice Orb to freeze Tsugaru Strait.
• Onimaru using his new technique on Tokyo.
• Yaiba's group searching among one hundred thousand of orbs.

• Some added scenes in new anime:

• Matsuo Basho's flashback scenes (although his story was in manga)
• Jubei's short fight against Basho after Nadeshiko got thrown
• Yaiba using Ice Orb against Basho
• Yaiba describing the visions he has been seeing to Nadeshiko

• In manga, Gerozaemon and Namako-Otoko already rejoined the group after Jubei was introduced. In new anime they rejoin in this episode.
• In manga, Yaiba is the one who use Gerozaemon's tongue to get close to Basho. In new anime, it is Nadeshiko instead. The new anime also make her manage to jump from Gerozaemon before her leg is grabbed by Basho and throw her into the ground. The scenes where she later tries to attack Basho from behind but failed due to her visible reflection on pond is anime addition.
• Unlike in manga, Kerokichi remains in the Darkness Orb in the new anime. Thus Namako-Otoko is the one who solely save Yaiba.
• The scene where Yaiba's group being rejected by all inns as ordered by Onimaru is adapted in the next episode instead.
