Crossroads of the Soul (心の岐路 ,Kokoro no Kiro^?) is the 22nd episode of the Yaiba: Samurai Legend anime.

Characters

Due to the direction to make the new anime more serious, some comedic scenes are not adapted:

Yaiba playing around to encourage Sayaka to jump in the first stage, which ended with Yaiba slipped and almost fell down into bottomless pit.
Sayaka slipped while climbing the ladder and fell onto Yaiba, leading to Sayaka thought that Yaiba might see her underwear.
Yaiba hitting the door to the final stage after wondering how far he must climb.

Compared to manga, the lava breaks into the first stage slower and not sudden.
In manga, Jubei managed to grab Gerozaemon's tongue before slipped. In new anime, he fails to reach it.
In manga, Namako-Otoko managed to jump out before the door of the third stage is closed, but he fell back into it. In new anime, he only manages to throw the flame and fails to jump out.
