Manga to Anime Changes
Note: This tab is for overall settings changes only. For changes unique to each storyline, please see the episodes' individual articles.
- Overall, the setting and technology in the series is updated to reflect the 2020s instead of the 1980s and 1990s. For example, Sayaka using smartphone to stream the news and Kumo-Otoko using SNS to spread Onimaru's influence. Yaoya Town is now located somehwere around Taito and Sumida Ward, specifically near or instead of the respective districts of Asakusa (Taito) and Mukojima (Sumida).
- In manga, Nadeshiko Yamato only appeared in one chapter. The new anime make her a recurring character that help Yaiba in searching Dragon God Orb.
- In new anime during the search of Dragon God Orb, everytime Yaiba find an orb, he will see a vision.
