In the Chinese mainland, the Changchun Publishing House (长春出版社 Zhǎngchūn chūbǎn shè) is reponsible for publishing the Detective Conan manga. Located in Jilin Province, they opened in 1998 and started publishing Detective Conan in 2002. They own all rights to the manga in China and are state owned. During Detective Conan censoring in 2019, they put a hiatus on publishing the manga, but restarted the year after. In 2019, they also updated the covers of each volume and re-released them.
