In the past month, there have been four purse-snatching incident caused by a pair of thieves in a motorcycle.
As Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys are talking to Kamen Yaiba cosplayer Takeshi Fujimiya, a purse-snatching incident occurs nearby.
Attempted robbery
Location: A park near a construction site
Time: Between 7 AM and 9 AM
Target: A purse containing pamphlets
Culprit: A thief on their motorcycle
Later, Fujimiya suspects that this attempted purse-snatching is not caused by the duo responsible for the serial purse-snatching.
The thief attempts to flee from the crime scene after his attempt fails, only to be followed by Conan riding his skateboard, and Kamen Yaiba riding a bicycle that he happens to see.
