Conan, Ran, Sonoko, Kogoro, and Detective Boys go to Kyoto by train. Ran and Sonoko decide to take the opportunity to buy some local pastries, but the chocolate desserts disappeared from all five stores of a famous confectionery company. The president asks for help from Kogoro to solve this huge case of theft. Inspector Ayanokoji with his chipmunk also join in, but being off duty he must call his assistant, Detective Kurumazaki.

The main suspect is a young woman dressed in pink, with a little pink car suspected. With great effort, Conan finds out the truth and uses the voice of Kogoro, but no need to put him to sleep this time, having been stunned by Ran after punches in face as punishment for going to see cherry blossoms and drinking sake during the case.
