Conan, Ran, Sonoko, Kogoro, and Detective Boys go to Kyoto by train. Ran and Sonoko decide to take the opportunity to buy some local pastries, but the chocolate desserts disappeared from all five stores of a famous confectionery company. The president asks for help from Kogoro to solve this huge case of theft. Inspector Ayanokoji with his chipmunk also join in, but being off duty he must call his assistant, Detective Kurumazaki.
