OMM: it's technically Sunday now... I still have that paper to write... tumblr_m42qykugn91r58lid.gif

On My Mind: Gahhhh.... My friend's mum just left the world fighting cancer... such a young age to lose a parent... I really feel horrible...

I'm so sorry! My one friend lost her dad to lung cancer at the end August. He lasted a lot longer than he was expected to but that doesn't make it any less terrible...

Yeah... *sigh* The longer... the more painful it is for the one with the cancer. Was your friend's dad like given a days remaining something...?

He was first diagnosed back when we were in 7th grade I think... (back when we were approximately 13) and if I remember correctly the doctors said he probably only had 13 months to live or so (I remember her mom and her worrying about him not being able to make it to our 8th grade graduation at least). But he didn't pass until away a couple months after we turned 16 (our birthdays are 6 days apart, hence why I use "we"), around the time 11th grade was starting. I just remember his energy level plummeting after starting chemo. I can't imagine the pain that comes along with fighting such a vicious disease...

That's terrible but at least he was with your classmate until she graduated, ne? I really commend those people who make it through these... losing a parent at such a young age.

Yeah... Plus, also the emotional carriage that you get. You'll really feel worthless... you'll feel like people are wasting on time and effort on you coz you are about to die, anyway....

Speaking of cancer, last November, a woman who knew me since I was a baby passed away because of it. She treated me like we were family. :'(

I'm sorry about that... *sigh* How long did she carry the disease?

HAPPY SUPER PI DAY

...even though tau makes more sense and should have been implemented into the school curricula and mathematics instead of pi...

Woah, another Vi Hart video?!

Watching her make that pie made me hungry, so thank God dinner's ready...

OMM: Miss one damn day of school and look at all this homework I have to make up...

Yeah, considering we're closer to our high school graduation now though I'm sure my friend had some hope he would make it until then though.. And I do as well, my friend majority of the time had a lighthearted exterior, her fortitude these past few years far exceeded what a 14/15 year old should have. I can't imagine what her dad felt like during those last years. They were a traditional family so you could tell him no longer being able to work and provide for them really hurt him. ...It was just an overall sad situation y'know? In recent months, my friend and her mom seem to be doing ok though :/
