Anything else, including the touch screen, power button, and the charging connecter have been rendered useless. However, in Shiratori opinion, if they open the tablet, they can recharge it directly from the inside: if they get the data from the hard drive, they could figure out where the signal is coming from. But, in Conan opinion, after they take it apart, what happens if they can't see Detective Takagi anymore? The culprit is smart enough to modify the buttons and make the touch screen useless. It's safe to assume there's a trap set to shut it down completely if they mess with it. There's another way to avoid that risk by using the tablet's network provider, but this criminal used an overseas server, so it's most likely impossible to find out with so little time.</ref> In the end, along with [[Ai Haibara|Haibara]], Conan shows to the police the trick used by the culprit, even if he making them to believe that is [[Hiroshi Agasa|Agasa]] to find the evidence.<ref>Episode 683</ref>
