Tamura (田村 ,Tamura?) is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background
Tamura is a police detective of Hokkaido prefecture and Nishimura's assistant. Since his superior told him that there is a rumor going on about a cursed detective who causes unfortunate incidents wherever he goes, he is skeptical of Kogoro.
Personality
He is more easygoing and less formal than his superior, which makes him a more approachable detective.

He has a tan skin and spiked black hair. He is a bit chubby and has a brown suit, with a necktie.

Plot overview

In the dining car of an express train for Sapporo, a guest dies. He and Nishimura try to find the killer.
