Hirota (広田 ,Hirota?) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background
Hirota is a detective from the Tokyo MPD, Division One Investigations, Section Three. He loves Sato and is jealous of Takagi, often attempting to interrupt their dates along with several other officers. He has great respect for Matsumoto and Kuroda, and follows their orders conscientiously. He meets Conan in several cases and his great deduction impressed him only during Takagi's kidnapping, but Conan deflects suspicion off him by leaving all credit to Shinichi or Agasa.[1] He reports directly to Megure information on a murder case in presence of Kogoro.[2] He is pretty experienced in martial arts.[3] In a kidnapping case, he and a female officer are disguised as a married couple with a baby, but it's unknown if they're really lovers.[3]
