Detectives' Starry Night is a special animation video of Detective Conan, screened at the Tsukuba Expo Center in Japan during a planetarium visit event. It was screened at 2:30 pm every day (except for a few dates) in 2015.

This work is a planetarium version of the "Detective Conan Plus" series. The production company is D&D Pictures, a company that makes animations exclusively for planetariums. There are no official releases of this footage, hence it is considered "lost media".

Plot

Situation

Conan and the Detective Boys decided to self-study at the Beika planetarium over the summer vacation. The night before, a letter was delivered to Conan, whereby a mysterious detective challenged the so-called "Dear Kudo Shinichi". Thus, who is the detective knowing Conan's real identity?

That aside, an epic deduction showdown stems from the planetarium!

In fact, the mysterious detective who challenged Conan was Sherlock Holmes, yet a hologram version of him. Besides that, the narrator was Yukiko Kudo in disguise and the hologram was based on Yusaku Kudo. They liaised with Dr. Agasa with the aim to send out invitations and conduct the planetarium programme.
