Agasa and the children are in the hallway of an apartment when they hear a scream. When they come to the room where the scream came from, a woman named Mai Takigawa opens the door and collapses. While in the room, Riko Totsuka is crying over Yusuke Tsuda’s body. It appears that Takigawa accidentally killed Tsuda without knowing that he and Totsuka were planning to surprise her with a birthday party, although Conan and the police discover clues that make them think there’s more to the case.

Before today’s event, Yusaku Kudo cleared a Kaito Kid forgery letter with Nakamori's help. However, at 4 pm on Saturday, Yukiko and Conan have to discuss an alternative plan because Yusaku has gotten food poisoning, and things worsen when Yukiko also falls ill. Fortunately, it seems that Kaito Kid (disguised as Yusaku) is there to "return the favor" to him, but they have very little time to prepare for the TV show.

So if it wasn’t Kid, it had to have been that person who appeared with Conan, But why did that person even appear? Yusaku and Yukiko saw through the Black Organization's attempt to take them out by food poisoning. They planned with the FBI and pretended to get the symptoms of food poisoning to fool the Black Organization. Vermouth disguised as Yusaku to infiltrate the Kudo Residence by Rum orders to investigate Yusaku, whom he considers a threat to the organization. Shuichi, Jodie and Camel appears.

But the call is interrupted when someone injures Kogoro as a warning not to interfere.

There have been quite a few unidentified foreign murders recently, and the case that Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys accidentally encounter after hearing a loud noise is no exception. After seeing Vodka, Conan tells his friends not to approach the scene, especially not to show themselves to Haibara. After checking the victim's belongings that have fallen, he finds a code that seems to be from the FBI and immediately returns to Kudo's house to find Akai, only to see almost every FBI agent currently in Japan other than Akai there. He shows the FBI that the code is relatively easy to solve, but Camel wants to use this loophole to lure the Black Organization's plan; however, it backfires heavily under the intervention of Rum, the second-in-command of the Black Organization. Since the Black Organization started moving again, the FBI uses this occasion to hunt down the Black Organization and gather information on them. The Detective Boys witness the death of an FBI agent. The Black Organization hunts down FBI agents. The whole FBI in Japan appears, including Shuichi Akai, Jodie Starling, Andre Camel and James Black.

And remember, the restroom has a specific mechanic: when someone is inside, no one outside can put the coin in. So what kind of a trick was used by the culprit?

However, their conversation is soon interrupted when they notice an unusually empty stand and a spectator who is not watching the game. Sato and Takagi, after receiving the call, with Takagi confirming his identity beforehand, head to the stadium to investigate. Meanwhile, Conan's group continues to track down the suspect, and from there discovers a revenge plot aimed at the person who previously arrested them.

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan encounter a cluster of men disputing in the hospital. They all belong to a company named Aizawa Foods. The president of the company is Kenzo Aizawa, and they are Ryoichi, the eldest son of the president, and Reiji, the second son of the president. With the addition of Masaru Bando, who serves as managing director. They are being kept calm. The reason for their argument seems to be that their father, Kenzo, was sent to the operating room. The three of them explain to Kogoro that Kenzo fell into the refrigerated warehouse. At the same time, the surgery is finished, and everyone approaches him to ask about his condition. Strangely, he only claims that he is far too tired and just dozes off. But Conan perceives a sense of incongruity in Kenzo's words.

It turns out that this person was a police officer who had accidentally caught three people responsible for three different cases, and now they become suspects in this murder case as well. FBI headquarters orders a lot of their agents to go out of Japan. Heiji plans to buy a love knot charm so that he can confess to Kazuha. ​

Before Jupita's encounter with the robbery thief, Jupita phoned and said that Suria had come to another city; accordingly, Conan begins to investigate the reason Jupita lied about coming to Beika.

In addition, on the stairs where Nezu seems to have fallen, there is a screaming Keiko Yuki and the body of her husband, Hideto Yuki, the president of an IT company. The classmates are searching for a time capsule that Akemi buried years ago, said to contain a personal message for her younger sister. Conan and the others join in, using cryptic clues to unravel the mystery, determined to uncover Akemi’s message before anyone else does. Rumi Wakasa finds out that Haibara is Shiho Miyano in a shrunken state.   Akemi Miyano attended Teitan Elementary School in the past.

Conan, suspecting something deeper, pieces together the true hiding place from a clue referencing Akemi’s time as a librarian. Professor Agasa tells Conan that he knows Haibara's father, who praised some of his inventions. For him, Haibara's father is a polite man, whereas he is opposed to his wife.   Conan asks Professor Agasa about the news about Mr. Itakura's diary relating Tequila (surviving from Episode 311) but not much is known.

Moreover, it seems that Takako controls him very strictly as well. Will Conan solve the mystery of her missing husband's money flow?

The police officer there, who is on patrol for burglaries, warns Katsumi to pay attention. After hearing this, Conan and others decide to investigate the matter.

While in the restroom, Agasa accidentally meets Kinji Nanjou, a safe company director who looks just like Agasa, and is asked by him to act as a body double for him, only to end up being the victim of a kidnapping. The kidnappers show no mercy after realizing that they are being tailed, even if it is just a boy, and this almost causes Conan to lose his life. Fortunately, the mysterious policewoman from the beginning of the story, later introduced as Chihaya Hagiwara, appears in time to rescue the boy. The two continue their pursuit, despite the increasing odds, and Conan's determination reminds Chihaya of her deceased younger brother.

Despite setting up a roadblock, the kidnappers somehow manage to get through. Luckily, a driver, who passed through the roadblock, left a question about someone buying a lot of hot tea and an umbrella from a convenience store for unknown reasons. This gives Conan more clues to find the car that kidnapped Agasa after they removed their fake license plate. However, they are forced to act quickly because the press reports that the real director has been arrested. Meanwhile, Inspector Jugo Yokomizo explains why things will get dangerous when Chihaya meets Conan, but get dangerous for whom, we don't know exactly yet. Shinobu Ooe is introduced. Jugo blushes when Chihaya teases him. Chihaya recalls her moments with Kenji Hagiwara and Jinpei Matsuda. Chihaya knows Conan from the serial bombing case.

Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys are playing soccer, when Ayumi finds a man's body. The autopsy reveals that the murderer must have been covered in the victim's blood. The police leave the scene because there aren't many clues, so the boys begin searching for the murderer based on the bloodstains he left behind.

Kaito Kid (who disguised as a mysterious man) dismisses Amuro's card trick as child play in order to provoke Conan, but accidentally gets Amuro so excited that he calls Kazami, who is attending a event involving Yoko Okino. During the exhibition, when paint is sprayed thickly from the chimney, Kid steals the Queen's Bang. Conan assumes that Kid could only be disguised as one of the three people who were not wearing masks at the time: Amuro, Kazami, and Azusa. Heist: Queen's Bangs
