Yudai Ohno (大野 雄大 Ōno Yūdai?)[1], born on April 1, 1989, in Toyohashi, is a Japanese singer. dancer and actor. He is a member of the five-men boy band Da-ice since its inception in 2011.

He performed alone as a feat for closing 67 with the duo all at once in 2022.

Biography

A native of Toyohashi in Aichi Prefecture[2], Yudai Ohno grew up in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture. In the summer of 2009, he appeared in the a cappella contest "Harmonep". He was recruited along with Toru Iwaoka, Taiki Kudo, Sota Hanamura and Hayate Wada on January 17, 2011, to form a boy band[3]. Originally named "Blackout", "Da-ice" took on its current name shortly after formation[4]. Ohno has since then performed within the band as one of the two vocalists, along with Hanamura.

He released his first solo mini album on April 3, 2019, and his first single on March 16, 2020, via digital download. On September 23, 2023, he released the song "Saa" (さあ), performed along with Yoshikatsu Ikeuchi. His acting career sprung in 2009 and he has since made numerous TV appearances alone.
