Shoji Terabayashi (寺林 省二 ,Terabayashi Shōji?) is a character in the anime and manga franchise Detective Conan.

Shoji Terabayashi is a police officer from Chiba prefecture.
Personality
He is serious and talks loudly and looks like Megure.
Appearance
He is a rather large man wearing only normal clothes for uniform such as a t-shirt and has a small beard with a slim moustache. What makes him unique is that he is the only police detective to wear sandals.

Plot overview
Sonoko's Dangerous Summer Story (Manga: 219-221; Anime: 153-154)
He was charged with investigating a murder in Chiba Prefecture. In a way, he realized that the culprit must have been Tadahiko Michiwaki, and for a year he was following the trail until the day he reached Izu Island. He was responsible for monitoring this to protect Sonoko, who was a dark-haired girl. At the time, followed Ran and Conan and what shows them that Chiba police and he was only going after a murderer, if Conan go after Michiwaki explaining this trick to drop the car. After Makoto hit Michiwaki's face, he was arrested and probably sent to Chiba police.
He interrogates suspects along with Shiratori and Chiba regarding the serial murder case of all police prefectures.
