The Counterfeit Case of Ultra 30 (30号殺人事件 Sanjū-gō Satsujin Jiken) is the ninth TV Special of Detective Conan. It is a commemorative work for the 30th anniversary of Detective Conan anime.
The special is written by Takeharu Sakurai. It first aired in September 25, 2026 and released on Netflix in Japan at the following day.
As the new 10,000 yen banknote featuring the "Toto Tower" design is issued and the world is abuzz with excitement, Conan and the Detective Boys, along with Professor Agasa, Ran, and Sonoko, visit the Nagano factory of the Japan Banknote Printing Bureau. Meanwhile, at the Metropolitan Police Department, counterfeit money is found at the scene of a murder, and an investigation headquarters is set up. Amidst the public confusion caused by the unprecedented news of counterfeit money circulation, Conan and Heiji head to Osaka, where the counterfeit money is believed to have been printed. A national crisis stemming from the counterfeiting of the new banknotes is tackled with the biggest all-star cast in Conan history![1]

Trivia
- It marks the first two hours special since Episode One: The Great Detective Turned Small.
- The special was initially titled "Ultra Fake of Case Thirty", which can be seen via script cover posted by voice actors.[2]
- Alfa Pictures, Spanish distributor of the Detective Conan films, announced that this special will have a theatrical release in Spain.[3]
- The Detective Boys saying they heard about "Paris Green" before might be a reference to The Whistling Bookstore 3.
- The train station Amano's accomplice headed to, Kawashina Station (川品駅) on the Tohto Loop Line, is the real-life Shinagawa Station (品川駅) on the Yamanote Line.
- The convenience store Heiji and Conan stop at is called "Mawson", after real-life chain Lawson and uses the design of real-life chain 7-Eleven.
