Season 26

The twenty-sixth season of the Detective Conan anime consists of the episodes aired in the year 2021.

It begun airing in January 9, 2021 and finished airing on December 25, 2021, with a total of 40 episodes. There are 16 manga-adapted episodes and 24 anime-original episodes. There were breaks totaling to 4 weeks, with remastered reruns broadcast for 8 weeks.

Conan, Ran, Sonoko, Makoto, and Masumi are going on a street discussing random nonsense when they hear a scream of a girl being held hostage by a man. However, only after Makoto knocks out the criminal does the group realize that the hostage situation was a drama shooting. Makoto has to replace the criminal as a result of knocking that unlucky person out by accident. The group encounters Saiya Tokozuno, an actor known for his mean demeanor toward his colleagues, and Makoto quickly has a grudge with him due to his attitude toward his girlfriend. Not too long after, Tokozuno is seen falling from the abandoned building used to film when the director is asking for him. Since Makoto was on the same floor as him when Tokozuno fell, he becomes the main suspect of the investigation when the police arrive. Sonoko and Makoto are on a date.

Daisaku Odori has somehow figured out the culprit when he saw the footage recording the moment Tokozuno fell. However, he uses this information to blackmail the culprit instead of telling the police. At first, Odori thought that he could make some dirty money from it, only to be poisoned by the culprit using his favourite drink. During the investigation, Masumi starts to focus less on the case itself, but rather, Conan's true identity as Shinichi Kudo by catching him off guard. Sera catches Conan off guard by calling him Shinichi with him responding to it normally at first. Sonoko and Makoto are on a date. Flashback of Teitan school festival event are mentioned as Shinichi and Conan appeared at the same time.

Conan tries to deny the fact that he is Shinichi, to no avail, as Masumi decides to ask if someone else acts more mature than their age. Meanwhile, at the Agasa's residence, Mitsuhiko and Haibara sneeze when they were mentioned by either Conan or Ran and Sonoko, to which Agasa tries to have them use the Shirohato sneeze medicine (which is not possible because the medicine expired). The medicine also reveals to the audience more about the Miyano family. As Conan is in trouble of his secret identity being revealed, he also has to solve the case before the culprit can escape and delete the evidence. Sera catches Conan off guard by calling him Shinichi with him responding to it normally at first. She also finds out that Haibara is a mature child from Ran and Sonoko. Sonoko and Makoto are on a date.   Shirohato Pharmaceuticals is where Haibara's parents worked and the company made them create APTX 4869.

In a traditional café located in the mountains that is holding a festival, Kogoro, Ran, and Conan meet Akashiba and his hawk; Genichi Takehara and Sakoto, the managers of the café; and a local farmer named Masahiko Ishima who makes puffed rice. Takehara later goes hunting boar, while the Mouris watches Ishima’s process of making puffed rice. When making puffed rice, there are two different explosions—one from the valve, and one gunshot. During hawk training, when the hawk is arriving at the target, it gets stuck and injured by a wire, and a gunshot is heard shortly after. Takehara is found dead due to the gunshot wound. Is the hawk the culprit?

Sometime ago when the elderly were on a big travel bus led by a married couple who are also the head of their elderly resort, Tango Hohoemi and Waltz Hohoemi, they were enchanted by the scene of Conan and the Detective Boys eating their ice cream, which leads to the four to the resort. However, Tango and Waltz never drop their jaws whenever they are seen on-screen, as their true intention with the elderly is actually jaw-dropping to the audience.

This angers Shin Kotani, the man in the hoodie, who is having flashbacks about losing his job due to Kusano and is seen killing Kusano out of anger. But has the statement that Kotani killed Kusano actually happened?

The episode starts with the conversation between the Mouri family in a yacht, as Kogoro receives a call from someone claiming themselves to be Keiji Asoh. Upon reaching the island, the Mouris are shocked to know that Keiji Asoh killed his family, set his house on fire, and played Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata as his house burnt around him. Ten years later, the surviving piano was deemed cursed because of the death of the island's mayor, which shares similarities with Keiji's death. The night becomes mysterious as the first movement of the moonlight sonata is played, Hideo Kawashima is found dead inside the piano room; and not long after the first murder, when the second movement of the sonata is played, Tatsuji Kuroiwa is found dead as well.

Conan's deduction on the two murders convinces everyone that the serial murder is over, but is it not the case, as the final piece of the sonata is actually the third movement. As the third movement is played, Shuichi Murasawa is found injured in the head inside, while Ken Nishimoto is found strangled in a room nearby. Conan also notices someone suspicious running away from the room that contains the sound before he finds Murasawa. Once Conan has access to some of the past files of the island and he happens to discover that under the piano is illegal drugs; he finally knows who is the murderer, and what had happened twelve years ago.

This episode begins with a flashback outside Haido Central Hospital, where Tooru Amuro obtains information from Detective Takagi regarding Rikumichi Kusuda and deduces that Rikumichi was shot by a gun. At present, Natsuko Shibuya, a teacher at Haido Elementary School, receives a call from Jodie Starling while grading math tests at night. Natsuko tells Jodie she needs to meet with some parents soon after. After the conversation, Andre Camel asks Jodie about Natsuko, and Jodie tells him that Natsuko was her acquaintance. Natsuko was involved in a case while studying abroad in America, and Jodie helped her out. Jodie also reveals that she was able to go undercover in Japan as an English teacher because Natsuko taught her Japanese. Natsuko Shibuya is introduced. Bourbon knows that Jodie and Camel are FBI agents.   Bourbon and Vermouth appear. Jodie and Camel appear. Hidemi Hondou's retrieval and Mystery Train cases.

Inspector Megure and Detective Takagi question the three suspects again, this time in further detail. After this, they, Jodie, Andre, Amuro, and Conan examine the picture containing Natsuko's graded tests. Amuro and Conan immediately figure out who the culprit is. Later, Andre meets up with Jodie and Conan, only to realize that the Jodie he talked to previously was Vermouth. Because Andre leaked the fact that Rikumichi shot himself, Amuro now knows that Shuichi indeed faked his death. Conan asks Amuro whether he's an enemy of the bad guys. Bourbon and Vermouth learns that Rikumichi Kusuda dies from a gunshot suicide. Conan confronts Bourbon directly with his suspicion of him being an BO member. Camel is fooled by Vermouth in disguise as Jodie.

Subaru Okiya invites Tooru Amuro into Shinichi's house for some tea, and Amuro begins to explain Shuichi's faked death trick. Meanwhile, Jodie and Andre, on their way to Raiha Pass, also realize that Shuichi's death was faked. In reality, the one who planned all of this was not Shuichi, but actually Conan. Vermouth disagree with Bourbon about Shuichi Akai's fake death. Bourbon "confronts" Subaru to reveal the truth. Jodie and Camel revisit Raiha Pass to investigate Shuichi's death.

Shuichi takes out a gun and shoots down the front car's tires, causing all of Amuro's colleagues' cars to crash into each other and be rendered useless for further pursuit. However, Shuichi tells Andre to turn back and drive toward the cars. Back at Shinichi's house, as Amuro gets the news that Shuichi shot the cars down, Yusaku Kudo begins to make his speech upon being rewarded the Best Original Script award. He reveals that the man who inspired him to write "The Scarlet Investigator" was Shuichi Akai. During the speech, Ran is surprised to see Yusaku acting strangely cute. Conan, Haibara, and The Detective Boys are cleaning up some trash in the shopping center when they realize the garbage bin is missing. At Teitan High School, there is a small competition for the best idea to greet guests at the upcoming World Sport Games. In the association of stores, there are concerns about who will pay for the garbage bin expense. The next day, the garbage is once again thrown untidily, prompting the Detective Boys to find out who is behind this. While walking, Conan, Ran, and Sonoko meet Subaru Okiya. Another day passes, and Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys have had enough of the messy trash, so they watch footage from the camera and reveal the truth. Ran, Sonoko, and Sera present their invention, which won the contest.   Akai Shuichi (disguised as Subaru Okiya) is seen doing an FBI mission, with his bag sparking Ran and Sonoko the idea for the school competition.

Kogoro received a letter to a specific building with a strange piece of paper from Taisei Nichihara 1 month ago. The letter states that one of Nichihara’s friends committed suicide, and the piece of paper might tell why he did that. But Ran couldn’t come, so Amuro and Wakita have to come with them. Kogoro’s group meets other people at the reunion who also received a piece of paper similar to Kogoro’s group, and they reveal that Nichihara was the one who committed suicide. The talk is interrupted as the parking lot of the building collapsed. With no way to escape, they have to call the local police for help. After being missing for an hour, Kouhei Wada, one of the people, is found dead due to a crossbow wound.

Nagano police receive a call informing them about the murder, and they request to see the scene and everyone around it through the camera. Taka'aki seems to recognize Amuro as someone he had met in the past, whom Hiromitsu once introduced to him when he visited his younger brother. To prevent further murder from happening, Amuro suggests splitting into four groups of two people each, only for another murder to happen when the group assigned to check the weird sound got split due to a message sent to an individual of that group. Meanwhile, the Nagano police receive a call from Kuroda, requesting Taka'aki to answer privately. We learn that Komei knows Amuro. Conan asks Bourbon about Rum. Komei remembers his brother Hiromitsu being friends with Amuro.

Kobayakawa, a secretary of Sasano Finance, hired Kogoro as there was a death threat sent to Sasano, so Kogoro, Ran, and Conan went to the party hosted by Sasano to identify who was the one to do that out of the three guests. Just as the party goes on, Sasano dies due to poisoning, but Kobayakawa reveals to be the real Sasano as the two switched their identity according to Kobayakawa’s offer. Can Conan find the truth?

When a famous samurai movie star, Kozaburo Hijikata, hires Kogoro, the group is led to believe he wants to learn about detective work for an upcoming TV series where he is to star as a detective, but rumors of an affair between his wife, Isami Nagakura, and stunt actor Hajime Okita can't help but lead Conan to doubt the reason. When Isami is found dead on Okita's balcony, the group believes it is an open-and-shut case, but Conan doubts the authenticity when he sees a big smile form on Hijikata's face. Which side is truly right?

Conan returns to Kozaburo's apartment to find concrete proof to prove Hajime's innocence. While Kogoro attracts the newspaper press so Inspector Megure can take Hajime to the police station, Conan knocks Kogoro out to announce Kozaburo is the real killer. Conan reveals Kozaburo tricked everyone by taking them to the 6th floor while everyone believed they were on the 5th, by creating a duplicate room on both floors. As proof, Conan asks Takagi to find the model gun under the sofa that Kogoro secretly broke in the room on the 6th floor.

Junpei Haruyama is found dead at the park, so Megure, Takagi, and Chiba go to investigate any of Haruyama’s friends, with the help of Kogoro and Conan passing by. After asking Yori Natsukawa, Miyako Akiba, and Ryuzaburo Fuyuki, it seems like they are hiding something, so on the next day, Kogoro and Conan go to ask Natsukawa again, only to find out that he is dead. When the police arrive, Akiba and Fuyuki have to admit that they once fooled Takashi Komoto 10 years ago, and Komoto then left Japan. One day, he returned and was seen peering at Haruyama's shop. At first, the other three didn’t believe it until he was found dead. Later, it is confirmed that Komoto, who also has an incurable illness, returned one week ago to drag all four into the other world, so the police decide to be the bodyguard. On the next day, while trying to kill Akiba, Komoto falls off the cliff, but the corpse hasn’t been found yet. The murders don't end there, as Akiba is found dead two days later, with Komoto also making a threat call to Fuyuki, which sparks his full score of fear.

Komoto’s corpse is later found by a man working in his excavator. Examination shows that the time he died was almost identical to when he fell from the cliff. Later that night, Megure reveals that Fuyuki received a call from the mysterious man to make a deal for the next morning, so the police attempt to catch him when the two are making the deal, but the attempt fails as they focus on the wrong person. So Conan has to investigate on his own. Later, Conan calls everyone under the name Kogoro, and when everyone comes, he tranquilizes Kogoro and starts his deduction.

Ayumi finds a bracelet on the road, so she takes Conan, Genta, and Mitsuhiko to where she found it, where Conan also finds tire marks and blood traces nearby. They decide to find the owner of the object, nonetheless. However, the owner of the bracelet, Shinobu Yamaki, has been missing for a week, according to his sister Risa. Worried about the whereabouts of her brother, she decides to reach out to Shinobu’s friends in an attempt to find him. Conan, and then the Detective Boys, decides to follow the woman to investigate.

Futoshi Yamasato, who just transferred to Beika Town 4th police box, receives a report about a woman who ate and ran away without paying her bill, but was seen coming with another woman to pay the bill. He also reveals he received a similar one, with the two women looking identical to Kayoko Kakurai. But both of the incidents turn out to be misunderstandings, as she had just forgotten something.

Conan, Haibara, The Detective Boys, Kobayashi, and Wakasa are picked up by Maika Zenda after they went from a train to pick wild plants. However, Toji Fukikoshi, Zenda’s husband, is found dead near the car, but it is strange, as when they just parked there, his corpse had never been there. Yamamura arrives and investigates, with his assistant revealing that Fukikoshi is a wanted marriage swindler who also has many card names. Wakasa also recalls Kohji Haneda and his last words to her when seeing the Detective Boys trying to find the 4-leaf clover that was seen previously by Ayumi when she and Zenda were trying to find the latter’s earring.   Rumi recalls Kohji Haneda's dead body and something that he said.

The police also find a villa near the scene, and it seems to be where the murder happened, however, inside the villa, there was an injured woman and ^who is now in the police station. She stated that she was the girlfriend of the just killed victim. Later, Conan finally knows that Zenda was the one behind the murders, but how is he going to reveal the truth to everyone? Rumi learns the secret of Sleeping Kogoro when she sees Conan use his tranquilizer dart on Yamamura. She also throws away Ayumi's four-leaf clover as a gift of lucky charm when Ayumi turns away.

Kogoro and Conan are going to buy vegetables for the curry dishes, but they stumble across a murder which is under investigation. At first, Sakuragawa says that the husband did this as self-defense. However, Conan finds some evidence that they are actually lying, and this reveals the terrifying truth behind this proclaimed self-defense.

Kogoro and Conan happen to walk by a famous writer’s house, which happens to be the scene where he is found dead. The writer also has 4 apprentices, who reveal that they were the one responsible for most of his work and get paid. The culprit is most likely one of them, but who could it be?

Conan and the Detective Boys happen to see Chiba buying lots of food, so the kids follow Chiba up to a building where we see Takagi. As it turns out, Takagi and Chiba are observing three suspects of a robbery that happened 3 days ago nearby. Based on the suspects’ behaviour toward certain things, the Detective Boys commence their plan on finding the robber out of the suspects.

A bullet happens to pass by a passenger in the Monorail where Conan and Kogoro are sitting in. Investigation shows that the place where the bullet came from tested positive with luminol, and that there is a bullet shell in the said location, implying this was a scene of a murder, and the corpse was carried away. The culprit, having seen Kogoro and Conan, decides to not silence them both by using a girl as bait. Conan and Kogoro are able to rescue her before the three end up in the other world. As the culprit also carried the corpse, Conan, Takagi and Kogoro deduce that he must have been in Toto fish market.

However, when they arrive at the market, a police officer informs them that an assault has happened, as he found a man knocked unconscious with his working clothes and turret truck stolen. Chiba also informs Takagi’s group that Ichiro Akiyama, who has been missing and is the resident of the place of shooting, was a suspect of a robbery that happened 4 months ago. Then the police report to Takagi that the turret truck has been found, meaning that the culprit escaped from the place and tried to cover the corpse nearby. When Takagi’s group arrives at the place suitable for that purpose, a scream and 2 gunshot catch their attention. A dead body and an injured man who says that the one doing the gunshot has run away. But later we see the injured man is exposed by the police and the Sleeping Kogoro as the true culprit of the case.

Agasa tells Conan that he hired Hogen Nishitsu, an Antique appraiser, for an Antique Tray that he got from his uncle's house long ago. Subaru then visits the professor to ask him about the tray, thus allowing Sera, who is observing the residence, to come in as well. The five then proceed to go to Nishitsu’s house, but when Agasa arrives in the room, he sees Nishitsu bleeding, with the latter telling Agasa about the real tray before being killed by a person hiding in the wardrobe after Agasa leaves. The Police then arrive and interrogate the other tray owners since only 1 out of 3 antique trays is real, with all do not have any alibi when the murder took place. Shuichi appears as Subaru to keep an eye on Sera.

For the investigation, Agasa recalls that Nishitsu spread his blood behind the real tray. However, the culprit has done it into other trays as well, making the investigation harder. For the character interactions, Sera’s attempts of pressuring Haibara into giving the antidote was interrupted by Subaru, which prompts her to attack Subaru. Subaru simply dodges it, and tells her to act for feminine. However, Sera’s comments raise doubt on Subaru if their mom had died. Conan confirms to Subaru that Sera is his younger sister. Subaru replies that he does not want Sera to be involved in the clash of Red and Black. It appears that Mary seems to have consumed the same potion as Conan and knows the real meaning of sister outside the domain. Shuichi appears as Subaru to keep an eye on Sera. Shuichi's flashback seventeen years ago.

With enough evidence, Conan and Haibara reveal the culprit and the owner of the real Antique Tray, with Agasa’s appraising process revealed by Subaru. Conan analyzes Mary’s true identity and wonders if this was a test for him. Conan suspect Mary is a member of member of the British Secret Intelligence Service, known as MI6. Sera suspect Subaru could be her older brother Shuichi. Shuichi appears as Subaru to keep an eye on Sera.

Three days ago, three masked men robbed 30 million yen from a financier in Haido City. Coincidentally, three troublemaking men Takeshi Mitsumoto, Yorimitsu Hosaka, and Yasuho Shida have been found dead while 30 million yen is found in Yasuho Shida’s apartment, suggesting a probability that they were the one responsible for the robbery. Suddenly, Chiba opens some different paths of the cases as he is not convinced with the conclusion that a devil circuit has happened to the three.

Conan, Ran, and Sonoko are visiting the Ancient Oriental Culture museum when it is cut off by something like an earthquake. It turns out that Hiroaki Uchida was squished to death by a statue, which Kowata believes to be the Anubis' curse. The police can not find anything useful and the suspects had no alibi at that time, so Takagi has to carry out an investigation on the victim's and the suspects' backgrounds overnight. Several hours later, Takagi receives a call from Kowata trying to reveal the culprit's identity but it is cut off by someone else. Conan, Ran, and Sonoko are walking around the museum when they see Kowata acting as if he is another victim of the Anubis' curse, before being taken away by the police. He accidentally drops the guests' review notebook, which enlightens Conan as he then asks everyone to arrive at a location.

Suddenly, Nojima shows up with his housekeeper Nagisa Takeuchi during the commotion between the Detective Boys and takes them to his basement, where he shows them what actual stories are. During the lunch break, however, Yoshikawa falls to the floor without a clear cause and has to be taken to Toto University Hospital.

Conan and the Detective Boys wake up at 5:30 in the morning to go get in line for a roller coaster ride. There are only three other people on the train at that time, and they plan on going there in order to take pictures of the train. One of the photographers waits outside so he can take pictures of the train coming towards him; suddenly, the ladder underneath him tips over and he falls onto the track. The train conductor quickly applies the emergency brakes, and everybody rushes out of the train to find him unhurt. However, when Conan comes back into the train to continue their journey, they find one of the other photographers dead. How can Conan make the officer in charge of the case see sense that this was a murder, not an accident?

A housekeeper working in a wealthy family has passed away. She left a code for her four children, but some trouble happened so they asked the family, with the case later turned into a challenge for Shinichi and Heiji to decide the winner of a bet Heiji accidentally had with Momiji. Momiji also reveals the way to notice the four brothers. Later, Conan and Heiji solve the code at the same time but when they arrive at the location, the oldest brother out of four is seen dead and it seems not to be an accident. ​

Momiji has heard that Heiji planned to confess at the harbour once he solves the case and wins the bet, and has to hope that Shinichi is able to solve it first. Conan figures out the truth of the case and has enough evidence to denounce the culprit, he then observes for everyone's expression if he should reveal the deduction. Suddenly, Ran's expression reminds him of the time they shared something together, but in a situation they were unable to do so equally. Conan understands what Ran actually wants this time for the best and decides to help Heiji solve the case, thus letting him win this time. Conan deduces that Kohji Haneda is the son of a wealthy family. Heiji tries confessing to Kazuha at the Haido Harbor but fails again, as Momiji and Iori ask her to take a photo and she runs off. ​ Conan has learned the truth, he turns around and sees Ran's expression, which reminds the time he and Ran shared three donuts together. Ran made the same expression after she was willing to give Shinichi the last donut, and what he did was to give her that donut instead.

A person who appears to be Hikaru Komori has witnessed a murder, but he refuses to give any information about it. Komori is known by his neighbors as shut-in, currently unemployed, and a Yoko’s fan. Suddenly, news coverage about Yoko Dome Tour helps Conan realize that the person he and his family met this morning was not Komori at all, and he must help the real one from being slaughtered when he returns to his apartment.

Agasa and the Detective Boys are eating at a restaurant, when they notice a man behind a curtain of an apartment attacking a woman after he tries to kiss her, so they call the police. However, when the group arrives at the said apartment with a police officer, only the officer is allowed to get in, and he finds nothing. The next day, the Detective Boys tell the story to Conan. They proceed to investigate the apartment with Agasa and Takagi. Based on the inspection of the crime scene, Conan speculates that the Detective Boys and Agasa might have mistaken the genders of the two people involved in this suspicious case.

One week prior to the episode, The Detective Boys and Conan saw a woman when they were talking about the nearby abandoned building that was going to be rebuilt as a factory for Western Confections Paradise. Conan wakes The Detective Boys up as they are seen faint, they tell Conan that they saw a woman who was crushed by rocks suddenly woke up, scaring them out. Later, when the four walk out, they see the woman who looks exactly like the woman last week they met. Furthermore, her current costume looks exactly the same as the one that made the Detective Boys faint. This time, the woman looks angry and goes to the Western Confections Paradise main factory. Later, a scream from a secretary of the confectionery company Yayoi Ito scared Hiroshi Ogawa, who was enjoying his meal, and when he comes to where she screamed, the president of the company, Akira Ogawa, who is also Hiroshi’s brother, is seen dead.

The episode goes back to the time when Rei Furuya, Jinpei Matsuda, Hiromitsu Morofushi, Kenji Hagiwara, and Wataru Date were attending the police academy, to be specific, the time when Furuya and Matsuda were not on goods terms because of Matsuda’s hatred to the police. Class starts with their instructor Hachizo Onizuka teaching how a police officer should handle a scene, followed by a lunch break before their upcoming shooting practice. At lunch break, Furuya and Hiromitsu learn about the incident that causes Matsuda to be like that. On the shooting practice, Matsuda finds his gun not shooting properly, so he disassembles the weapon with his specialized knowledge to check the weapon. The action causes Onizuka to call off the training and cease every training weapon. However, one of the bullets is lost and Onizuka initially blames Matsuda. Just then, a construction worker asks the instructor to check the roof with him, so he leaves for that. Suddenly, he is involved into a dangerous situation where no one is able to save him without proper tools/weapons, except for Matsuda, Rei, Date, Hiromitsu, and Kenji. First appearance of Hachizo Onizuka, Mr. Morofushi, Mrs. Morofushi and Jotaro Matsuda. The story take place 7 years ago, when Amuro and his friends attended the police academy.

Kogoro Mouri receives the request of the person whom he just saved from a car hit, as the person reveals to the great detective that he has lost his memory. The person is Ritsuo Esaka, he lost his memory one year ago, but he recovered recently in exchange of the time he couldn’t remember anything. Suddenly, the TV rebroadcasts news of Akira Kisugi, who has been missing for six months and was discovered dead three days ago. A swift investigation shows that Esaka has been taken care of by Takuzo Kinbara under the name of Taro. In the reunion with the Kinbaras, Esaka is shown to be scared of dogs and lightning, but this seems to remind him of something else. However, two days later, Esaka is found dead with a suicide note as he was trying to find information about Kisugi. The question is: What is he trying to remember and does it have something to do with Kisugi?

Takagi explains the scene and mentions that Esaka performed 2 calls, one to the company he formerly worked for and one to the weather information system. It turns out that he was at the Wakadabai mountains on June 10, when Kisugi was murdered. However, whether he was a culprit or a witness is still unknown, so Conan and Kogoro go out to ask others around, with one lady who owns a takoyaki shop stating that she saw him get chased by a dog when the two saw something before suddenly being disrupted by a lightning strike. The two then figure out that Esaka was a witness and the culprit probably lived in Koneru. However, there are no suspects that match the requirements. Later, Kogoro asks Tazuko about it, with the help of his family, to find anything suspicious, while Conan investigates where Esaka almost got hit by a car. With enough evidence, Conan calls everyone out and begins his deduction as Sleeping Kogoro.

Ran is scouted as a model for a painting by an artist named Ryuji Kasuga, with Conan arriving at their place because he is worried about her safety. Later, when he goes outside for some investigating, he is met by a gardener who tells him about the two previous models who got assaulted after their painting was done.
