- This marks Goro Otaki's first appearance in 200 episodes and Heizo's first in around 250 episodes.
- The case reveals that Kazuha actually likes the Gomera movies since she watched them when she was young with Heiji although this fact is not confirmed in the manga.
- Taiho Pictures is a pun to Toho Pictures, the company which produces the Detective Conan movies.
- Yonekura's SUV stolen by Mihara and Kouchi is a 2007 Black Clearcoat Lincoln Navigator (U326). The license plate number is 浪速 300, よ 12-09 (Naniwa 300, Yo 12-09).
- One of the cars in the parking is a brown Toyota Prius. The license plate number is 浪速 301, ふ 68-20 (Naniwa 301, Fu 68-20). Another Toyota Prius, although white, is seen at the scene of Onda's accident.
- The Naniwa Police Hospital (浪速警察病院 Naniwa keisatsu byōin ) shown in part 2 of the case is in fact the Osaka Police Hospital (大阪警察病院 Ōsaka keisatsu byōin ).
- Onda's blue car is a Bleu abysse 2018 Alpine A110 Premiere Edition. The license plate number is 浪速 332, り 1-10 (Naniwa 332, Ri 1-10).
