It appears that Takigawa accidentally killed Tsuda without knowing that he and Totsuka were planning to surprise her with a birthday party, but Conan and the police discover clues that make them think there’s more to the case.

Before today’s event, Yusaku Kudo cleared a Kid forgery letter with Nakamori's help. On Wednesday, Yusaku plans to solve the closed-room murder cases that happened a month ago that he had just given advice to the police on TV at 8pm on Saturday. But at 4pm on Saturday, Yukiko and Conan have to discuss an alternative plan because Yusaku got food poisoned, and things get worse when Yukiko gets food poisoned as well. Fortunately, it seems that Kaito Kid (disguised as Yusaku) is there to "return the favor" to him, but they have very little time to prepare for the TV show.

Conan is forced to explain each murder scene to Kid, but then he is forced to give Kid the earphones to listen to his deductions and repeat them. Yusaku's detective show officially begins! After the show ends, things get scary again when Inspector Megure announces that Inspector Nakamori has confirmed that Kid was in Shibuya tonight. So that person must have appeared if it wasn’t Kid who appeared with Conan, but what could be anticipated in the next Clash of Red and Black? Yusaku and Yukiko saw through the Black Organization attempt to take them out by food poisoning. They plan with the FBI and pretended to get the symptoms of food poisoning to fool the Black Organization. Vermouth disguised as Yusaku to infiltrate the Kudo Residence by Rum orders to investigate Yusaku, whom he considers a threat to the organization. Shuichi, Jodie and Camel appears.

After finishing dinner with the family, Conan receives a call from Oi informing him that an anonymous person sent a message stating that Yasushi, a suspect whose co-worker was lying. But the call is interrupted as someone injures Kogoro as a warning not to interfere.

There have been quite a few unidentified foreign murders recently, and the case that Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys accidentally encountered after hearing a loud noise is no exception. After seeing Vodka, Conan tells his friends not to approach the scene, especially not to show themselves to Haibara. After checking the victim's belongings that fell, he finds a code that seemed to be from the FBI and immediately returns to Kudo's house to find Akai but he meets almost every FBI agent who is currently in Japan. He shows the FBI that the code was quite easy to solve, but Camel wanted to use this loophole to lure the Black OrganizationThis plan, however, backfires heavily under the intervention of Rum, second-in-command of the Black Organization. Since the Black Organization started moving again, the FBI uses this occasion to hunt down the Black Organization and gather information on them. The Detective Boys witness the death of an FBI agent. The Black Organization hunts down FBI agents. The whole FBI in Japan appears, including Shuichi Akai, Jodie Starling, Andre Camel and James Black.

Because the plan to lure the Black Organization failed, the participants, including Camel, are running for their lives under the fierce pursuit of the organization members. Kogoro has to help control the situation and make Kusumi go away. However, at around 6pm, when Kogoro wakes up and wants to go to the restroom, Kusumi is found dead. And remember, the restroom has a specific mechanic so when someone is inside, no one outside can put the coin in. Who is the culprit?

Later, the couple returns demanding their place back and the girlfriend decides to let them have it. Later Ran is drugged and kidnapped. The kidnapper is later found in another car in a road accident. Conan reveals the boyfriend hired the kidnapper to murder his girlfriend, but captured Ran instead because of their tent placement. After examining some clues, he realizes that Ran is in a river and that the it will flood at 3o'clock. After saving Ran, everyone becomes exhausted except for Ran who has just woken up from her nap.

The president of the company is Kenzo Aizawa, and they are Ryoichi, the eldest son of the president; Reiji, the second son of the president respectively. With the addition of Masaru Bando, who is the managing director, that keeps calming them down. The reason for their argument seems to be that their father, Kenzo, was sent to the operating room. The three of them explain to Kogoro that Kenzo fell down inside the refrigerated warehouse. At the same time, the surgery has finished, and everyone approaches him and asks concerning his condition. Strangely, he only claims that he was far too tired, and just dozed off. But Conan perceives a sense of incongruity in Kenzo's words.

In addition, on the stairs where Nezu seems to have fallen, there is a screaming Keiko Yuki and the bodies of her husband Hideto Yuki, the president of an IT company.
