After the Detective Boys visit Agasa, as he has been in the hospital due to the previous injury, the Detective Boys are interrupted by a criminal who is chased by Takagi. The criminal rushes toward the Boys, terrifying Haibara as she thinks it is Gin, just to be knocked out by Sato. However, when Takagi is just about to report in his notebook, he sees character strings written before by Date, the former owner of the notebook, which remind him of an old, unsolved case and a sad memory. Eventually, the Detective Boys join in with Sato and Takagi to help them at Poirot Cafe. They begin solving the code, thus finding the proper guidance, dressing style, and specific time. While discussing what Date implied in the notebook, Azusa mentions a strange boy who made a sign, which Conan deduces as an SOS signal because the boy was actually the commodity of the transaction, which coincides with the unsolved case of the Wataru brother. The Detective Boys visit Professor Agasa at the hospital. Takagi recalls the moment when he was having a stakeout with Date. He also recalls the moment before Date got hit by a car.

The group starts following the guidance on the notebook, when Takagi and Amuro see the boy who is making the sign exactly what Azusa mentioned, Amuro receives the instruction from the old gaming device and follows it. The kidnapper then takes the suitcase, not knowing that Sato has been waiting. However, he uses his pepper spray on Sato to buy time to escape while the Detective Boys take the boy. Suddenly, the boy cries as there is another boy in the same situation as well. So another investigation has to be made. The boys and Azusa stay while the others split into different direction. However, the boys doesn’t have the specific location, forcing them to gather more information to locate the place. Eventually, they manage to locate it. And since Takagi is the one closest to it, so he wastes no time going there and luckily buys enough time until the others arrive.

Mouri family has just solved a burglary case and is on their way home when they meet Inspector Yamamura at the scene of a man who had been crushed to death by a chimney. The chain of tragedies does not stop here, as Norihiro Shimada is found dead under the bridge they are crossing.

Heiji and Okita, who are passing by to practice before the match, notice the murder as well. Heiji wants to beat Okita in a kendo tournament and confess his love for Kazuha afterwards. Okita flirts with Ran, making Conan jealous. Ran is reminded of Shinichi by Okita's look, flustering her. Momiji plans a suprise victory party for Heiji. Heiji is competing in this tournament

Heiji figures out who the culprit is and solves the case. Ran rushes to bring Heiji and Okita back to the tournament; however, it is already too late. Their opponents won by default. Momiji decides to meet Heiji under better circumstances and leaves. Heiji fails to confess his love once again. Takeshi Onimaru is introduced. Heiji tries to solve the case quickly in order to make it back in time for the match and confess his love for Kazuha, but he fails once again. Heiji is competing in this tournament

When they return to the restaurant to look for the key, there is a scream from inside the building, and in addition to the body of Anju Tomari, one of the two girls who had caught the eye of many people at that party, they also meet Chihaya and Inspector Jugo Yokomizo. Jugo unexpectedly meets Chihaya at a masquerade matchmaking party.

However, while they are enjoying their drinks in the dwelling, they accidentally hear about the mysterious events that have been happening since a robbery of a pair of diamond earrings worth 200 million yen. And from there a journey of mystery discovery begins while Agasa's group is still enjoying their day off.

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan invite Heiji and Kazuha to Jirokichi's Suzuki Museum, where they meet Taka'aki Morofushi, who went there last week to retrieve an item addressed to him and was curious about Kaitou Kid’s heist, so he assists as well. However, the Fairy’s Lip, which is the item Kid aims for, is not known to us, except that Jirokichi bought it. After this, the heist proceeds as usual, while Kazuha starts clinging to Heiji strangely. Consequently, the suspicion rises toward Heiji and Kazuha, as they are the closest to the Lip, which scares Kazuha, and she keeps clinging to Heiji because of that. Taka’aki receives a call from Kansuke about Kaitou Kid’s heist and the item Taka’aki has to recieve, and wonders about his brother’s well-being. While Conan reveals Kid’s disguise to Ran and Mori, who is actually Kazuha, Heiji is still oblivious to this and even attempts to kiss Kazuha until Ran stops him. Kid tries to steal the Fairy's Lip, but is interrupted by Taka’aki. In the end, he lets Kid escape as he returns the Fairy's Lip to the original owner while the fake owner gets arrested. Later, Taka’aki is seen receiving the item, indicating that he knows and accepts what has happened to his brother. In the post credit, Heiji is daydreaming about the event again in a library, with Kazuha calling to remind him about eating okonomiyaki with Mikiko Hiramoto. He accidentally drops a book when he leaves the library. The book opens on a page about Hakodate, famous for its "One million dollar night view." Komei finds out his brother Hiromitsu Morofushi is Scotch via an old letter from Wataru Date and that he died on a police mission. Heiji wants to confess his love for Kazuha by catching Kid before Conan. Conan notices the abnormality in the pool, from which he investigates and discovers some interesting things, along with the testimony of witnesses mentioning a past event. Could this be the motive for this murder?

Later, However, when chasing the raccoon that might be responsible for recent incidents, Inose is injured and quickly taken to the hospital. After that, Conan notices some key evidence to the assault incident – but it’s not end there since one mystery is still not solved – why did that van appear out of nowhere?

Later, when the Detective Boys and Mayuzumi rush out to see the real face of the second person who also wears sunglasses and a mask, Mayuzumi is terrified for some reason. Could the person who terrified her be the culprit?

During the joint investigation, after hearing Inspector Taka'aki's deduction, Yamamura remembers and tells Taka'aki about his childhood memories with Hiromitsu, whom he confirms to be his younger brother but had quit the police force and could not be contacted. After seeing Taka'aki, Yamamura recalls that he used to play together with Hiromitsu when he was a child.

While eating after taking a break from the investigation, Yamamura finally remembers the pose of the body before he touched it. And when he recalls about his secret base with Hiromitsu again to everyone, Conan, Yamato, and Taka’aki finallys solve the case. Afterward, the police and Mouri’s family go to Hiro and Yamamura's secret base again following Conan's suggestion. Taka'aki does not reveal the death of Hiromitsu Morofushi, his younger brother, to Yamamura but instead encourages him to still have hope that the two of them are still serving justice together.

Cheerfully, Kanoko accepts the fact that her husband does not cheat on her; she then invites Kogoro for a dinner. After eating, Kogoro drives Kanoko home, and a squeal is heard distinctly...

Kogoro and Conan visit Inspector Megure, because of their unpromising progress on the case that they are helping investigate. The suspect in that case is Kengo Kitao, a former elementary school teacher. Eight days ago, he was cuffed by the police at a construction area as the suspect in a murder case that took place nearby; strangely, Kitao admits his crime rather quickly. However, the police interrogate him, yet he shows queer behaviours that make Megure hesitate to prosecute him. Inspector Megure and his colleagues think that there must be some switcheroos behind the case; consequently, they start to search for other suspects related to that murder case. Whereupon, a person who is related to Kitao emerges gradually...

Whereupon, he leads the child to the bathroom, and there, they realise that there are no spaces to hide, thus they exchange their clothes and Conan shrewdly rescues the hostage.

Conan has undergone an abduction incident as a result of exchanging clothes with the real hostage, Kazuo Mimura. Having declared that he is willing to assist the two kidnappers after learning that they did not commit any crime, he inquires, "Are you forced to kidnap Kazuo because your child is also being held as hostage?" When Conan understands the situation, he conceives a plan to discover the real culprit.

The Detective Boys attend a firefly festival to commemorate a Shinto shrine in a village. The truck soon arrives with the fireflies and they are released into the fields. Later, one of the truck drivers, Tokurou Nakamine, is found murdered, and three of the villagers are the prime suspects. Conan notices a flashlight Genta found inside the truck and realizes who the murderer is. Using Agasa's voice, Conan reveals the murderer. The culprit then takes Haibara hostage and attempts to flee but is eventually apprehended.

While Agasa and the boys are eating at a restaurant, they meet another group that is also gonna eat at the restaurant: Tokumi Nagasu, Sumika Kokonoe, Mao Toya, and Yasuko Aijima. Later, Agasa’s group is shocked when the Detective Boys tell them that they saw Kobayashi eating with Chiba, while Taiko Meijin was eating with Naeko, and Shiratori was eating with Yumi. However, the incident where Nagasu is discovered dead due to cyanide poisoning led to a heated fight, and with Haibara's attitude of asking the six to act professionally, Agasa's group, even Conan, ends up being sent out by Shiratori this time while the police question the suspects alone. In a restaurant, Chiba is seen with Kobayashi, Shukichi with with Naeko, and Shiratori with Yumi. When they meet each other due to a murder case, they are angry at each other, thinking each is cheating with the other. The Detective Boys find out about the triple date.

While the case is at a dead end because the guys aren't focused on the case, the girls call Conan and provide him with the necessary information to help him deduce the culprit. However, Yumi had previously seen the heart shape written on the 7th of this month in Kobayashi's notebook when they were looking for Agasa's number to send the security footage and photos, so Yumi and Naeko decide to solve the case without Conan. But do the two people's deductions match? And what is the truth of this Triple Collab? It turns out that the women marked a date on their calendars, and the men were preparing a surprise present for their girlfriends for said date. In order to help them pick the right present, the men asked the other women they knew.

But when Kozo is calling Makio, Mitsuhiko notices some anomalies suggesting that he is in danger, so Kozo and Chiba go there to check his well-being while Mitsuhiko goes somewhere. Is Makio truly innocent?

Conan, Heiji, and Kogoro arrive at Kyousuke Kabumoto's house to discuss the script for a TV show with the director, scriptwriter, and stage director, which will also feature Momiji and Kuroda. It turns out that Momiji set this up, along with having Kazuha and Ran busy eating at different pastry restaurants. However, things don't go smoothly when Kabumoto is found dead of cyanide poisoning, and the scene is identical to the suicide of another actor named Ninka Gyoda. Kazuha worries Momiji is trying to get close to Heiji. Heiji Hattori appears.

Now the investigation is focused on how the victim consumed more sleeping pills than usual while Ran and Kazuha are trying to finish all the cakes at each location, but then they decide not to rush anymore. Back at the scene, thanks to the abnormality that Momiji notices when Kogoro carelessly dropped the lollipops when he first entered the scene, Conan and Heiji realize the trick that the culprit used. However, while trying to help Heiji cut the pizza with the knife held upside down, Momiji creates an unforgettable situation in the eyes of the audience. This doesn't stop Conan and Heiji from solving the case as usual, after which Kuroda has a conversation with Iori, who has been looking around to see if anyone is following him; thus revealing his past as a Public Security Bureau officer. However, a mysterious black car passes by the two of them, terrifying Conan. Who are they? First appearance of the Mysterious Old Man and the Mysterious man with sunglasses. Muga Iori is revealed to be a former Public Security Bureau officer who served under the nickname "Sakakibara". Kazuha worries Momiji is trying to get close to Heiji. Momiji takes advantage of the situation to kiss Heiji, only to get interrupted by Conan. Heiji Hattori appears.

There have been rumours about flavour change in Ramen restaurant “Ogataken”, so Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys come there to verify this, only to know that the owner of the shop is actually missing. However, the Ramen Shop “Ichiban” Owner named Eiichi Banba has been acting pretty strange ever since his disappearance. Maybe he knew what had happened to the owner of the “Ogataken”?

Kogoro, Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys attend the opening of the Moving Police Box, but Kogoro and Conan have to pick up Ran, so they ask Haibara to look after the Detective Boys. However, Haibara and the Detective Boys get caught in a carjacking and are deprived of all means of communication when enjoying their ride in the said police box. Luckily, Haibara hid her Detective Boys badge, so she was able to send out a signal for help from Conan. Things don't end there, because the carjackers, who were also the watch thieves, were found dead in the car explosion that followed. So who killed them?

A man named Ryoichi Doba is found dead in his apartment. One of the suspects, among others who hold a grudge against the victim, Satsuki Makabe, claims that she had an alibi for the time of the victim's death. There are two problems: The testimony of his younger brother Yuto Makabe contradicts this alibi; and there are many contradictions between Satsuki and Yuto. Whose testimony is correct? Or are both false?

Conan, Haibara, and The Detective Boys are playing Frisbee in a park when a dog named Matsunosuke launches off of Conan's head and caught the Frisbee. Matsunosuke's owner, Kanae Asakawa, apologizes and takes Conan's jacket to get it cleaned after Matsunosuke leaves dirt all over it. The next day, when Conan and the Detective Boys arrive at her house to get the jacket, they meet Kanae's friend, Tomoko, and see Matsunosuke in his dog house, asleep.

A mysterious ninja-themed event that smells like a crime draws the attention of Sonoko, Ran, Ayumi, Haibara, and Sato, who later dress up like kunoichi and equip the walkie talkie to begin their kunoichi day adventure! Miss Kobayashi leads Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys to the storehouse of Edogawa Ranpo’s old residence where they meet Professor Goto, who later happens to be a suspect of a murder because he was caught by camera footage from a convenience store near the murder scene when he went out following a call offering to show him Ranpo’s unpublished manuscript. They decide to eat at the school cafeteria following the suggestion of Professor Goto's assistant Ryosuke Okumoto when Genta's stomach growls, and they join a conversation that soon gets awkward when another member of Ranpo Association Shunji Oguruma mentions what happened to Katsumine. Later that night, another murder occurs at the storehouse itself as Okumoto is found dead because of strangulation, which is similar to the one that Goto is suspected for.

Conan has to share to everyone in Kobayashi’s group about his unusual feeling toward the suspects when hearing the name Katsumine, and for some reason, the police have gathered information about this man and told that he was suspected of being killed by someone rather than drowning. This proved to be essential in helping Conan figure the motive of the murder, thus denouncing a past crime revolving around Katsumine’s death and stopping an upcoming murder from happening.

Conan comes to the hotel where Masumi and Mary are at to investigate the code Masumi found from the first hotel bombing after taking a bath there according to the two latters' plan. But Conan and Sera stumble across an attempted bombing and it will explode in 1 hour. Luckily the lawyer representing the hotel, who happens to be Eri Kisaki, is here as well, so a plan is made to find the targeted room out of the six suspected ones and the bomber itself.

After interrogating the three people who appeared in the room where the attempted bombing is notified, Kisaki forms a plan to evacuate the people as she reveals that she had called the police before so they can ambush the bomber. However, there’s one problem: The bomber’s location to perform the call is not where Kisaki and the police expected, but luckily Conan was able to predict this and confront the bomber to end the case. However, things haven’t ended there as the fire hydrant is started by someone, forcing an emergency evacuation. The Mysterious man with sunglasses starts the fire hydrant of the hotel to make Mary and Masumi run outside of the hotel. The Mysterious Old Man spots Mary, and mentions that the situation is just as he dreamed of.

A trip to the Beika amusement park on its last day of operation turns into an investigation mission to find the remaining robber from a robbery 6 years ago when the kids see Takagi and Chiba on a stakeout. In the investigation, there is a mother's mysterious missing child, a delivery guy who may have had his package canceled by someone, and a security guard's suspicious behavior. We discover some sad truths about the security guard and a disgusting truth about the robbery.
