Conan is cornered in a dark place and he can smell the dry ice, thus making him knows he is inside a coffin. The Detective Boys and Ran are also trying to rescue Conan after hearing a call from him.

The burial is ended and the hearse containing the deceased founder is driven to the crematorium. Meanwhile Conan tries to cut off the rope that binds him. Kogoro goes to the funeral home and realizes that the will is going to be cremated with the coffin, so he has the cremation temporarily stopped and try to find the will, but there is nothing under the corpse. Conan knows that he is in another hearse that will be scrapped soon. He gives The Detective Boys and Ran the directions to the scrap yard and they get there. But they only see the old-fashioned hearse being scrapped to wrecks. Fortunately Conan gets out during the gap and he lets Kogoro asleep to solve the truth behind the inheritance with Ran criticizing the three for nearly harming Conan.

There are rumors that a mysterious ghost knight is roaming the local art museum, and Ran wants to check it out. When they go to check out the 'Hell' exhibit, they find Manaka, the manager of the museum, has been stabbed to death by the ghost knight. The clues seem to point to one person being the criminal, but Conan isn't convinced.

A girl from Haido Senior High School comes to Kogoro's office to tell him that she saw an alien in summer at her school. Kogoro, Conan, and Ran get to the school, but they see a big piece of concrete with some footsteps in front of them. Officer Chiba later comes out and claims that there was a murder not long before and a man was caught in it. It is said that the man was killed by an alien came out from an UFO in the mid-air and the alien escaped away with the UFO. Conan further thinks about the resemblance between Haibara and Mary that if they are related, that means Haibara and Akai Shuichi might also be related. He further recalls that however Haibara's sister and Akai Shuichi dated each other. Naeko sent a package containing reports about the consequences of obesity to Chiba.

Yusuke Kuchiki murdered Nakatsu because the latter had derided his latest effort in taking an actual UFO picture; the trigger for the murder was that Nakatsu suggested that he could submit even a picture of a fake UFO. Kuchiki used a solar balloon - a black, cylindrical plastic bag which floats if the air inside is warmed sufficiently - as the murder weapon, cutting off Nakatsu's breathing and forcing him into the concrete patch. Following Nakatsu's demise, Kuchiki let the balloon float away into the nearby Haido Park, where it eventually ended up in one of its trees, and then dropped himself onto his own deepened footprints (which would have betrayed his perpetration), erasing them. He merely concocted the "alien murderer" story in order to ward suspicion off himself. Naeko gets jealous as other female officers in the traffic department start to find Chiba attractive.

Yumi was unaware of Shukichi being a famous shogi player for a long time, mostly due to her lack of interest in investigating, and an apparent personal disinterest in shogi (she is more of a Mahjong type). She assumed Shukichi was a "meijin" at some minor game like shiratori or fishing. She eventually saw Shukichi on television and figured it out. After realizing that meijins can make 100,000,000 yen in salary, she desperately tries to reclaim an envelope he left for her, which her ornery building manager had seized. After Yumi had mistakenly put it in an old magazine and took it out to the trash on the wrong day. The envelope was given to her by Shukichi Haneda, and was said to open it when he had collected all seven. Those seven were figured out to be the seven titles of shogi meijin. The building manager, a shogi fan and a former pickpocket, looked inside the envelope to find the marriage registration form, and made a game that would uncover the 8 digit password for the marriage registration. The game was for the purpose to challenge Yumi, whom he called 'ChaCha', and to find if she was worthy of being Shukichi's wife. Yumi discovers that the envelope Shukichi had given her contained a marriage registration for them.

Conan folded the sheet of paper into a shape of a crane in two ways. The paper then revealed the hint "root five" and "root three", in which the password were 22360679 and 17320508 respectively. When the second password was successfully entered, the computer's webcam revealed the envelope was in Yumi's breast pocket. It turned out that the old man, being a former pickpocket, stuffed the envelope into Yumi's coat when she entered his house, and adjusted the temperature so cold that Yumi would not take off the coat. Meanwhile, Shukichi lost the last game and therefore was unable to acquire the seventh Meijin title. He then called Yumi to cancel the proposal. An angry Yumi then shredded the marriage registration form into pieces, all the while pretending not to know what was in the envelope, shouting to him so that he would try to get the seventh Meijin title the next time. However, Yumi was unaware that the title match only occurs once a year. Kohji was mentioned by Shukichi to Yumi Miyamoto on the phone. Shukichi says that he respected Kohji, and Kohji's motto was "one should stick with one's original plan". After Shukichi and Yumi's talk, Haibara asks Conan whether he knows the name Kohji Haneda. Conan answers that Kohji was a talented shogi player, but he died under mysterious circumstances when he went to the United States to participate in a chess tournament. Haibara recognizes the name Kohji Haneda as one that was on the list of people killed by APTX 4869. Kohji Haneda is on list of the victims of APTX 4869 .

A man named Hidetora Nakadai and his secretary Yozo Hozogai goes into Mouri Detective Agency, to save his daughter named Manami Nakadai, at first they threatened the Nakadai family that she was kidnapped. Also, without noticing Conan. Conan and Ran have been invited by Kogoro to the jigoku ("hell") hot springs near the city of Beppu in the Oita Prefecuture. However, during the train ride Conan notices that Kogoro is unusually serious, and he also spots Inspector Takagi onboard, who desperately pleads with him not to reveal his presence. While taking a tour at the springs, Conan notices a strange man wearing shades and carrying an oni mask strapped to his backpack. Right afterwards, he and Ran surprise Kogoro when he walks by holding the picture of a pretty young woman in his hands. As Kogoro reveals under pressure, he has travelled to Beppu on an assignment: The woman is Manami Nakadai, daughter of Hidetora Nakadai, the president of a prestigious electrics company. Manami has run away, leaving only a picture of her holding a ticket to the jigoku springs. The reason is that she recently became engaged with Kenichiro Ehara, a move which apparently drove her ex-boyfriend, Hiroyuki Hayami, a paper craftsman located in Beppu, into blackmailing her with pictures of their dissolved relationship.

Shinichi notices that Ronsuke is seemingly showing favoritism towards Ran. The reason is because that is preparation for a kidnapping attempt by Ronsuke Efune, his wife and his brother-in-law. Ronsuke's motive is to get a child for his wife to replace their daughter, who ran away from home, causing his wife to suffer from a mental disorder. Yusaku reveals to Ronsuke that a fan of his that he met a few days ago is actually Ronsuke's daughter, and she has just returned to them. The brother-in-law is arrested, and Ronsuke and his wife decide to give themselves in after that. When the class hears that Efune has quit, most of them breaks into crying, among them Ran, after Shinichi promise to not call her a crybaby anymore. Shinichi was in love with Ran since they first ever met.

The time of death is estimated between 3 AM to 5 AM, making it impossible for Eiko or Ashizuka to have killed her. Suspicion falls on weather station employee Hayashida who went to a nearby mountain to collect data in the middle of the night, but something about the case bothers Conan...

Kogoro is hired by Junko to catch a thief. While working the case, the body of Junko's neighbor Kitagami is discovered in the parking lot behind her apartment building. Kogoro reasons Kitagami got drunk and accidentally fell from his room, number 704. Inspector Megure and the police investigate the room, and Conan finds it strange that Kitagami left his front door unlocked when his apartment was fully equippped with anti-theft devices. Conan questions Sawada, the resident of 604 and room directly below Kitagami's, and believes his death wasn't an accident.

The episode started with a robbery group known as Zorro who murdered three residents of the home they broke into. Among them is Isehaea Yuji, a hacker who panicked after witnessing the murders.He decide to leave the group however the leader Zorro decide to kill this traitor instead. Professor Agasa, Haibara and the Detective Boys went to a villa owned by Agasa’s acquaintance and saw Isehara Yuji, injured and lying unconscious on the ground. Conan found Isehara’s family photo and decided to give it back to him to the hospital when he noticed a very suspicious man wearing military boots. Ran found out that the robbery took place near the villa where the kids are staying so she decided to find them along with Kogoro. Conan set off by himself to investigate and found the bandits all gathered to kill Isehara but he managed to rescue him. They ran through the woods as they’re being pursued by the bandits but found themselves trapped on a cliff. Haibara and the detective boys happened to be on the other side and saw Isehara and Conan falling from the cliff. Ran and Kogoro met Agasa at the villa and he broke the news to them.

Kogoro asked the police to immediately search the ocean to look for Conan and Isehara however the police fail to find them. Believing that Conan is still alive, Haibara set off to find him and found the cave underneath the cliff where they had fallen. Zorro and his men, assumed that Isehara is dead, planned to attack a jewellery exhibition that night. Haibara found the remains of Conan’s soccer ball and was able to locate the two and brought Isehara’s laptop. He confirmed that the bandits’ next target is Beika City Central Event Hall. The three robber arrived at the location but found Conan waiting for them instead as the event has been cancelled. The gang was surrounded by the police which led to their arrest. Conan later revealed through Agasa’s voice that Isehara make a fake family picture to make Zorro believe that he has a weakness but his true motive is to let the robberies get arrested and transfer the robbery group’s money to his own account overseas.

The detective boys along with Professor Agasa arrived at Gifu Station to commemorate the 450th anniversary of General Oda Nobunaga’s entry into the Gifu Castle. As they begin to sightseeing the city, Mitsuhiko and the rest watched a local hero show who called themselves Nobuna Gaizers. After the show, Mitsuhiko went back alone to get the heroes to sign his album but ended up missing. They contacted the police and it is revealed that the Nobuna Gaizers are missing as well. Meanwhile at the Gifu City History Museum, a miniature solid gold Oda Nobunaga Statue, a golden tile and some ancient manuscripts got stolen. The CCTV show that the Nobuna Gaizers are the ones who rob the museum. Conan began to investigate the case.

At Cafe Poirot, Azusa reveals she must have a doppelganger because she wasn't at the concert hall, everyone began to wonder who the doppelgänger was (refer to ep 866-867). Heiji receives a letter from Densuke Takekuma, the mayor of Yadori village, from Shizuoka Prefecture, saying he got a hint about Takugawa’s hidden treasure and is asking for help to unearth it. Conan and his crew learned that there was a cave-in incident in the past that killed a foreign miner Charles Abel. At the hotel, the group meets a reporter named Hajime Tsurumi, a novelist named Fumie Masuko, historian Yasukatsu Someji, and archeologist Michiki Tanzawa. A dog that once belong to the dead miner appears and takes a liking to Hajime but he doesn’t like dogs. They discuss Charles’s incident; he was still alive when found but couldn’t speak due to his injuries, he wrote “nue” on a sheet of paper, horrifying his rescuers. A nue is a monster who has the head of a monkey, body of a tanuki, legs of a tiger and tail of a snake. At night, a fire suddenly started and a nue appears, ripping a sign as it leaves. Conan and Heiji give chase and discover blood on the ground. They follow the trail and found Someji dead with violent scratch mark slashed across his back. Azusa reveals she must have a doppelganger because she wasn't at the concert hall, increasing Ran's suspicions. Heiji plans to confess to Kazuha at the Kurogane Lake

Conan and Heiji informed everyone of Someji’s murder. The mayor revealed that he was asked to invite everyone by a stranger. In addition to the letters he send, there was an extra envelope containing information about the cave in incident sixteen years ago. Heiji asked everyone to stay in their rooms before the police arrived. As Conan and Heji begin to investigate, Nue’s cries is heard again, and flames suddenly combust. Tanzawa suddenly screamed and collapsed. When Conan and Heiji reached his room, he is already dead. Two red spots are found under his chin. As only Densuke has the spare key to the room, it is a locked room murder. Inspector Yokomizo Sango of Shizuoka Police arrived. Densuke recalled a rain drop fall on his cheek and the sound of a carbonated drink being opened, the second time the grass caught fire. Conan and Heiji begin to investigate the locked room murder and the Nue monster once again.

Conan and Heiji realised that the dog barked when he heard nue’s cry but when the monster appeared, the dog didn’t barked at all. Kazuha and Ran brought all the items Heiji requested and they found a old photo of the excavation team from sixteen years ago. Conan and Heiji revealed that they are going to summon the Nue monster once again. Heiji and Conan begin to reveal the tricks the murderer used. The murderer is the author, Fumie Masuko. She killed the two men because they left the excavation team and her husband Charles to die. Charles had found a tetsuno (metal) hairpin and meant to ask the team what it was in Hiragana, but the ink bled through and they misunderstand the word to be English alphabet n-u-e instead. Hajime Tsurumi is also revealed to be Masuko’s son though she denied it. Heiji bring Kazuha to Kurogane Lake. As the morning sun turned the lake gold, Heiji realised the treasure the poem was talking about is actually about the beauty of Kurogane lake. As Heiji was about to confess to Kazuha, he got interrupted by the Self Defense Force who arrived to capture Nue. Ooka Momiji makes her first appearance in the end. Momiji Ooka is introduced. Heiji tries confessing to Kazuha at the Kurogane Lake but fails again, as he is interrupted by the self defense force trying to capture the Nue.

Kogoro, Ran and Conan arrived at Hoto Temple to investigate a mysterious Buddha statue that turns around without anyone touching it. Whenever it turns, the people believe that something bad will happen. During dinner, the Head Priest Fukuhara Eikyo went ahead to pray for his evening duties. When his daughter went to check on him, he was stabbed to death.Trainee Monk Wakuda Junko confessed to his crime and say that he didn’t mean to kill the Head Priest, only to scare him. Conan conduct an experiment and realised the knife failed to stab the victim. He also found rice powder near him. Conan tranquilized Kogoro and revealed the true culprit.

At night, there is a sudden gas leak and Tanizaki Takeshi is killed. Conan tranquilized Kogoro and use the victim’s robot mouse to solve the case.

The episode started with a robbery taking place in an old woman’s house at Oku-Beika. As the robber who is wearing a red jacket begin to escape, he knock over Genta who is blocking his way. The robber collided with another man and both of them roll down the hill. The detective boys decided to caught the robber. Meanwhile, a man wearing a red jacket went to the police claiming he can’t remember who he is. So what really happened??

Kogoro is asked to trail a man for three days, but the man is found murdered at the Akaoni Village Fire Festival the next day. The main suspect, the man who ordered Kogoro to trail the victim, gains over five billion yen of life insurance money, and since he was on a trip for three days, he has a perfect alibi. With clues from the photos taken by Kogoro and the suspect, Conan is able to determine that the victim died before the suspect's trip and the man who Kogoro was following was a man disguised as the victim.

At a department store, Ran, Sonoko and Sera decide to try on swimsuits to go to the pool. Sera purposely choose a swimsuit similar to what she wore 10 years ago, to make Conan remember her. Conan did recall some memories but still can’t remember exactly where he met Sera before. At Simusa, Sashihara Ritsuko is found dead at their changing room. She left a dying message with lipstick on her right thumb and her left thumb and index finger sticking out. Short flashback of young Akai, Masumi and Shukichi

The investigation of the murder continue. After discussion, the police and suspects realised there is another customer as their white sandal was outside the right changing room. Detective Takagi asked the three suspects to draw out the white sandals. Conan and Sera managed to figure out who the true culprit was. As different countries use their fingers to count differently and through the different terms Sera used to describe sports and her table manner, Conan realised she studied in England and not in America. With the clue “England”, Conan finally remember where he met Sera before. Conan realizes that Masumi studied in England and also where he met her in the past.
880	935	The Detective Boys and the Ghost Mansion	November 11, 2017			TV Original	Greenhouse
The Detective boys who went for camping ended up at a mansion to avoid the rain. Strange things has been happening at the mansion lately and according to the master Otaguro Nobuteru, the mansion is haunted by a yellowish white ghost. The ghost is apparently the master’s wife who passed away two months ago. As the detective boys begin to investigate, they saw a wheelchair moving on its own, a woman voice replying to Otaguro san and the door opening by itself. Conan begin to investigate and solve the case.

As Conan finally remembers Sera (ep 878-879), he begins to recall from 10 years ago. At the beach, young Sera met her oldest brother Akai Shuichi for the first time. Akai and his mother Mary got into a fight as he wanted to join the FBI to investigate the truth about his father’s case. Young Shinichi met the Akai family for the first time and mistook Akai Shuichi as a circus pierrot because his eye injury looked like tear makeup. As Akai cleared up the misunderstanding, Shinichi introduced himself as Sherlock Holmes’s apprentice. Young Shinichi, Ran and Sera met for the first time. A car flew off the cliff and sank into the ocean. Akai Shuichi begins to investigate and requests Shinichi to help him with the case. Through a flashback, Conan remembers when he first met Masumi. Shuichi Akai appears. Conan has a flashback of his meeting with the Akai family ten years ago.

Shuichi revealed that the people involved in the car accident are actually robbers that steal branded watches. The driver died from the accident and his accomplice escaped from the car and blended into the crowd. Yukiko called Yusaku to discuss about the case. Shuichi figured out who the culprit is based on the suspects’ attire while Yusaku and Shinichi figured out based on their watches. Only the culprit’s watch displayed 10:10 which is generally what the watches in stores are displayed so that customers can clearly see the brand of the watches. Mary realised Shuichi is really similar to her husband Akai Tsutomu and finally agreed to him joining the FBI. Sera thought Shinichi is a magician as he kept making her brother laugh, something she hasn’t been successful with. Conan finally remembers Sera and he begins to suspect that she wore the similar swimsuit to make him remember. Conan also begins to suspect that Sera knew his true identity. He connected the dots and realised Shukichi is her second older brother and the Sister From Another Domain must be her mother Mary, who also shrank from taking the APTX 4869. Tsutomu Akai is introduced. Through a flashback, Conan remembers when he first met Masumi. The Sister From Another Domain is reveal to be Mary, Sera’s Mother. Shuichi Akai appears. Conan has a flashback of his meeting with the Akai family ten years ago.

The episode started with Kogoro running toward Kanematsu Park and request the crowd to run away as he has a bomb with him. Five hours ago, a bomb exploded at Pachinko Parlor Sandcastle. Meanwhile at Mori Agency, Kogoro received a pop up storybook called “Grandpa Tick Tock and the Three Clocks” by Imai Kenichi and a smartphone through delivery. Kogoro, Ran and Conan realised that the book and smartphone contain hints about the next bombing location. The police managed to identify the suspect, Hirukawa Takuji as his fingerprints were discovered at the bomb site. They managed to find the second bomb and the bomber request Kogoro to deliver the bomb to the park before time runs out. After finding the correct park from three different location, Kogoro threw the bomb into the sewage and it didn’t explode. However the bomber inform them the game isn’t over yet. Using the book, they found out they had to “deliver the final bomb to the middle of the 7” leaving the group to wonder what is the middle of 7 is.

The police department begin to find locations related to the number 7. They found three bombs at three different locations. However all 3 turn out to be fakes. Meanwhile the suspect disguise as a policeman, cause a Megrez Security vehicle to explode using the second bomb that flow down the sewage. The vehicle have a picture of Ursa Major printed on it, Conan and Ran realised it is the Big Dipper and the Center star is Megrez, the middle of 7. The police received an anonymous tip stating the address of the bomber hideout, requesting them to arrest him. Conan figure out the case and tranqulized Kogoro to solve it.

Heiji and Kazuha arrived at Mori Agency to see the light illumination at Kinza Block 4. While the girls stay at Mori Agency to cook dinner for Kogoro,the boys decided to head to Café Poirot to wait for them. Heiji plan to confess to Kazuha but that day is Friday the 13th, an unlucky day. Heiji met Amuro Tooru for the first time and asked Conan who he is but Amuro requested Conan to keep his identity a secret. At the table next to Heiji and Conan, the Beika University Drama Club members gather to celebrate one of their members Yui’s birthday. When they try to charge their laptop, a blackout occur and Anzai Tengo is stabbed. There is also another mysterious patron who called himself Wada Shinichi. Muga Iori first appearance. Heiji meets Amuro for the first time but Amuro subtly tells Conan to keep his identity a secret. Heiji invites Kazuha to Kinza to check out the light illumination, hoping to finally confess to her.

Wada Shinichi recite the One Hundred Poems by One Hundred Poets as a hint to help Conan and Heiji solve the case. Kazuha and Ran went to see the light illumination. As Kazuha is feeling sad without Heiji by her side, Ran decide to act like Heiji and confess to her to cheer her up.Kazuha thanked Ran for her efforts. The case has been solved however Heiji failed to confess to Kazuha once again as they have to rush to take the train back home. Detective Takagi discovered that the mysterious man Wada Shinichi has disappeared. Ran explained that Wada Shinichi may have been a fake name as that was Watson’s Japanese name in Meiji Era. Wada Shinichi is revealed to be Iori Muga, Otsuka Momiji’s Family Butler. Muga Iori is introduced. Kazuha says she's glad she is alone with Ran when seeing the lights because she knows she'd be going crazy if Heiji was with her. Ran pretends to be Heiji trying to cheer her up by saying "I love you!"
