Ai wa Kurayami no Naka de is the B-side of the single "Tsubasa o Hirogete" by ZARD that was released on April 9, 2008. The titular song is the 22nd opening of the anime. The song featured Aya Kamiki and Morishita Siyon from Naifu along with Izumi Sakai.

This is the final opening by ZARD, as its lead singer Izumi Sakai would pass away at 40 after an accident in the hospital, and with that, the band would cease activities thereafter.
