My favorite genre is probably progressive metal... Mostly darker stuff. Used to be into a lot of thrash/"heavy" metal but then just kind of got bored of it after years of listening.

Absolute favorite bands:

1. Katatonia

2. Opeth

3. Agalloch

4. Devin Townsend

5. Strapping Young Lad

The bands I like/getting interested in: SHINee, EXO, Super Junior, Red Velvet, Winner, BTS, f(x), VIXX...

I feel that I'm heavily SM-biased...

Aren't bands and idol groups different? O_O I'm not counting them as a band unless its Henry Lau since he, sometimes, actually has an instrument up there with him.

I distinguished the two before, but even "bands" like CNBlue are referred to as "idol groups", so I guess I lost the sense of distinction between the two...

Sorry if it bothered you :(

They're still band like One Direction. They don't play instruments. But I pretty much label them boy bands.

For J-Rock/J-Pop

Acid Black Cherry

Breakerz

Janne Da Arc

Daizy Stripper

An Café

Garnet Crow

Scandal

For K-Pop

Boyfriend

KARA

And Um, that's it. I have way more other artists, but these are just a few. Um, I can't think of any Western bands that I like. Maybe 98 degrees? (Though, the only song I listen to from them is "Fly with me" which is from Pokémon the first movie soundtrack that I own. But now that I think about it, I like every single song on that Soundtrack.)

Yeah, so I'm more of a Japanese music kind of person. xD
