In their mind, they did what they wanted, to stop you from doing what you wanted. You can go ahead and hate them, no one will blame you, but everything can be seen as fortunate or unfortunate.

I'm only sixteen and in my Junior year of High school, so I still have some time to think about it. I bet a first date for me would be almost like performing a live concert on stage for the first time, while you have like a million people watching you. I would be soo nervous. xD
