The movie contains footage from episodes featuring the confrontation between Conan and Kaitou Kid. It includes the remake of scenes from Conan vs. Kaitou Kid, when Conan encountered Kaitou Kid for the first time at Haido City Hotel rooftop.

Near the end of the movie, new scenes show Kaito Kuroba swipping through his tablet, which displays the sword and the island of Hokkaido. He then goes to the secret room, while saying that his next target is in Hakodate. Later, Kaitou Kid asks "Can you stop me?", and Conan says "Of course!"
