|summary= Minoru Fuwa stole some lethal doses of cyanide in Teitan University research lab two days ago, and he appears to have used some for his purpose before eventually getting arrested by Takagi today. He consults Kogoro and Conan for the case and now must prevent the used cyanide from being consumed by his targets. The reasons for them to believe they still have hope are because there haven't been any cases of cyanide poisoning for the recent two days, and Fuwa’s behaviours suggest he has been waiting for the poison to be consumed in a specific time.

While on the tour they meet Kazuha Toyama who has followed them since the beginning to "Keep an eye on Heiji from Ran". Later, their a body is dropped onto the car, the third victim of the same serial killer. After failing to prevent the fourth victim from being killed, they found out the victims are indeed connected, they took the driving test at the same time at the same place. Heiji then travels to meet up with the councilman named Gouji, who is a suspect of causing the murders. Conan is forced by Ran to travel with another officer to go to their hotel but due to an emergency, they are driven to the site where Numabuchi, a mass murder and also a suspect, is thought to be hiding. After Conan finds him, he realizes Numabuchi and Gouji are not the murderer. Heiji also realizes this and both figure out Sakada, the tour guide police, is the murderer. After stopping his suicide, Heiji is shot but survives.-->

|summary=The Osaka police are investigating two murder cases that have no eyewitnesses while having the same method - A stab wound that pierces the victims’ wallet in their chest pocket and their hearts. The case also haunts Heiji as he also experienced a dream of him and Conan (in Shinichi Kudo form) suffering the same fate as the victims, so he invites the Mouris to his prefecture for a visit under the guidance of a volunteer Osaka officer Yusuke Sakata in case he and Conan will never get to meet each other, forever.
Their visit is cut short when someone falls down from the top of a building nearby right onto their car. In the people that are curious about the case, a woman takes the spotlight as she is the one terrified the most, to the point she runs away in her car when Heiji and Conan are trying to ask her for information. Fortunately, Sakata is able to find information from her thanks to Conan’s memories of her license plate, but their excitement is ruined when the woman is found dead.

|summary=In contrast to the difficulty of the case, the victims’ identities are found quite soon, which Heiji wonders how it is possible. The answer is actually their driving license found on each victim’s wallet, which gives Conan and Heiji an idea to consult the vehicle license and registration department. The consultation gives them two main ideas: A driving course 20 years ago that ended with a tragedy, and a serial murderer who just escaped from prison.
