The J.League Starting Whistle (Jリーグ 開幕の
Conan and the Detective Boys are watching the opening match of the J.League, which is filled with excitement. Former Japan national team players Hiroaki Morishima and Yūka Kageyama are also in the commentary booth, and the match is a heated affair with VAR decisions being made. However, Conan senses something ominous when he sees Kogoro and Megure guarding the Mayor Nanako Eguchi of Toraharu. It turns out that a bomb has been planted somewhere in the stadium, which is packed with spectators, and will explode at the end of the match. With time running out, Conan pursues the culprit and the bomb.[1]

Situation
The opening match of this year’s J-League is the match between Big Osaka and Tokyo Spirits. Professor Agasa takes Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys to the stadium holding the opening match to cheer their favorite team up. Meanwhile, at a parking lot near the skyscraper is Renji Matsuo standing beside a car to wait for the mayor of Toraharu city, Nanako Eguchi, as he is her secretary. Matsuo then receives a call from someone, so he decides to answer it. At the other end of the call is the referee’s whistle sound, activating the bomb planted under the car he is standing. He barely survives from the explosion and is taken to the hospital.
During the first round of the match, Takahiro Sanada receives a goal from one of his teammates and scores a goal. However, the VAR team makes a decision to review the goal. The replay shows the Big Osaka player wearing number 7 shirt made a foul to a Tokyo spirits player, so a yellow card is drawn out by the referee. On the other hand, the VAR members rewatch the replay and conclude if the Tokyo spirits player is not stopped, he could have prevented Sanada’s goal, so it is overturned.
Conan looks around and sees a man wearing a yellow shirt and yellow cap not taking a seat, as if he has been planning something. Haibara does the same and sees mayor Eguchi sitting beside Kogoro, who became her bodyguard due to the threat message she received not long ago. Haibara shifts Conan’s to Kogoro, they also see Inspector Megure and Detective Takagi coming. Thinking something is off, Haibara surfs the Internet and learns about the bombing case. The first round of the match ends with the score of 0-0, Conan then makes excuses to investigate without catching the attention of the Detective Boys, to no avail, as Haibara accidentally speaks about the bombing out loud.
