Detective Conan Skateboard Run: Phantom Thief Kid and the Mysterious Treasures is an auto-scorlling runner video game for the Nintendo Switch. This game was released in Japan on April 11th, 2019 as digital-only title on the Nintendo eShop.
Cast
Plot
Ten or so centuries ago, there were three civilizations that secretly flourished in the world. Those civilizations produced the magnificent and very rare “Three Great Mysterious Treasures.” And even though those civilizations fell, the treasures were still somewhere on their land.
Present day. As the world watches, the Suzuki Financial Group, having managed to acquire the treasures, builds a giant theme park based on those three civilizations. But just as the park is about to open, Jirokichi Suzuki receives a calling card announcing that the Phantom Thief Kid will steal the treasures.
In order to stop the Phantom Thief Kid’s criminal act, Conan hurries to the treasure![1]
Gameplay
The game is an auto-scrolling runner. The player take control as Conan using his Turbo Engine Skateboard going through the course, with the main objective of collecting Kid Medals, and reaching the end of the level while avoiding obstacles. There are 30 levels in this game, divided to 3 areas of 10 levels each. The first area is the Subtropical Marine Park, the second is Ancient Ruins and the third is Ice Shrine.
The game can be controlled using either a single Joy-Con (L) or (R), both Joy-Con as a pair, or a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. The controls layout for all controllers are as follow:

The player can move left or right or jump to collect coins, medals, items or dodge obstacles. Some obstacles can only be passed by a certain actions. (such as jumping over a gap or crouch under a tree) Along the paths are crates that can be only destroyed by activating the Anywhere Ball Dispensing Belt, but this ability can only be used for five times in each levels.
Conan have a life guage divided by five colored bars. A full hit will result in losing one bar, while slightly hitting during jumping or crouching will lose less life guage accordingly. Losing all life guage will result in a game over and the player has to retry the level. Getting hit to a complete stop or falling down a pit will also results in a game over.
The main objective of each levels is reaching the end of the level. There's also an objective system where the player can received up to three stars per level, if they has met a certain criteria. (such as reaching a certain score by the end) A certain amount of stars is needed to unlock the final level of each area.
Through the levels, the player can find "Support Skills" in the form of character token to give them a special skill to help during gameplay. Once collected, the player can use it at any point. The ability of each Support Skill is as follow:

| Detective Boys | Kid Medal Suction | Employ a drone that automatically collect all Kid Medals for a period of time. |
| Sonoko Suzuki | Kid Medal Double | Double the amount of Kid Medals on the level for a period of time. |
| Makoto Kyougoku | Damage Reduction | Reduced the damage taken from all hits for a period of time. |
| Heiji Hattori | Jump Power-Up | Make Conan jumping higher than usual. Mainly used to collect Kid Medals that are higher than a normal jump could reach. |
| Shuuichi Akai | Invincibility | Granted temporary invincibilty to Conan. However, this does not save you from falling into a pit. |
| Tooru Amuro | Float | Make Conan able to skate over any gap without falling. |
During a certain courses, Kaito Kid would appear and send Conan to a special part of the level. There, Conan has to dodge upcoming obstacles while dealing with Kid's magic that will affected the level. Such as shooting playing card, vertically flipped the screen, etc.
The game also features online rankings, where the player can see their high score on a level and compared to other people online. The ranking is updated on a monthly basis.
