    A month of AOs to follow after next week's episode Though it'll be nice since the next manga-based episodes would be Kamataichi and Kawanakajima. Assuming there won't be an AO break in between since they tie in together. Really excited to see the latter's anime adaptation! (or at least how they choose to censor it)

    Started reading YAIBA a couple nights ago. It's always pleasant to see Gosho's old art style, and interesting to see the parallels between DC and Yaiba. Unfortunately, it seems that only about half of the manga has an English translation

    For an AO, it's quite entertaining. Not really mystery based or anything, lots of action. This one is certainly worth watching imo! Lots of silly Takagi moments. Canon plot returns next week in the anime!

    As posted in April on DCTP, Discotek has obtained licensing rights to release both Lupin Vs Detective Conan crossovers. Both the special and movie are going to be released on DVD (Doesn't look like they will be released on Blu-Ray for the time being) On twitter, Discotek announced that both the movie and special would be available for purchase by October 27th.     It's "ok". Case was a bit bland (mystery aspect of the case is quite weak), but I had a couple good laughs, and of course it features the new opening. I've heard some good things about 791 so far though! Looking forward to it next week.

    Well, not exactly... though I suppose she might have raised a red flag after her third appearance in File 918. I think she'll have some significance to the plot, even if it's incredibly minor. It does seem strange that not only she's noticed Conan's double personality, but that she keeps reappearing, and even got a keyhole for the latest volume. I'm not going to read into it too much since she might be there simply because she is Chiba and Naeko's friend.

    Welcome to DCW! Hope you enjoy it here! But if I read correctly, you watched all 790 episodes this summer? That's quite the accomplishment! I couldn't imagine doing that in just a few months. (To answer your poll, I've been a DC fan since 2004)

    Well Yoko did just appear in File 925-927 so it would definitely be new if she appeared in another case this soon. That's of course, not a reason that she shouldn't or won't appear in the case. As far as I know, copyright laws are different and not really enforced in China, but leaks are abound everywhere. We've been getting text spoilers from Japanese websites on Friday/Saturdays recently when the official release doesn't come out in Japan until Wednesday. People always have their way of getting their hands on things early. File 931 AC Hints (Translation by Fujiwara)

    It doesn't sound like Yoko will be making an actual appearance from the translation.

    After checking out the new opening, I have to say I'm quite pleased with it. There were quite a few similarities between the new opening and the original and it came as a pleasant surprise. Good little nostalgia rush

    Well I wasn't really referring to that, more or less that Conan was going to meet Sera (and presumably the MG) in the pool case, but he didn't come alone.

    Is she completely avoiding it though? It's clear she doesn't want Ran or Sonoko to know of the situation, since Conan was supposed to come alone in the Pool Case. In File 928 when Conan suggests whether or not she is bringing the food back to someone hidden in her hotel room, Sera responds with that it's for her boyfriend, jokingly of course. Ran and Sonoko were right next to her at the time, so I think that's worth mentioning. I mean Sera's never really been a "direct" person, but I don't think she's really avoiding the topic here without any reason. It'd be nice if we could get it over with though

    Why wouldn't I vote? I wouldn't call myself neutral, since I generally always side on canon pairings (whether I like them or not). Ran is the only sensible option. My argument wasn't specifically tailored to you, it was just a culmination of things to try and better prove a point. Plenty of people are biased. Shouldn't the same be true for everyone else, that if they can't look at something objectively, then they shouldn't vote either?

    Though I might be 10 years late, or a little over... I started watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Really been enjoying it so far!

    How and when exactly? In File 884 Shinichi said he'd take Ran to Tropical Land on his own accord because she was upset that "nothing good happens when he's around" after he lost her new phone.
