I went on a shoujo streak a while ago, finishing and mourning over Kaichou wa Maid-sama and Ouran Highschool Host Club in a matter of days. Cray-cray, I know. I loved the KWMS manga because Igarashi. Just... Spare me. Torasaki is my trash ship. I get that he crosses quite a bit too many lines, but near the climax, he becomes the character I'm always looking forward to reading because I need mah Misaki-says-she-hates-you-but-it's-strangely-extremely-funny-and-makes-me-feel-all-gushy-inside thing. And he and Usui are practically BFFs after the timeskip, so it's cool. Why I picked up the OHSHC manga, I will never know. The anime was so cheesy, 2-dimensional, and cringe-worthy, and its success baffles me. The manga, on the other hand... Oh gosh, the twins. Hikaru and Kaoru's relationship. It got so freaking amazing. And then they decided to all go study abroad in Boston with Haruhi, and I'm just like "OMG LET ME VISIT". Haha.

I took I my sweet time with my exams, then Facetimed a friend who's in Korea right now. And made her promise me to take pictures off every meal she eats. And tried to make her buy me AOT souvenirs when she goes to Japan (she refused...).

A week ago, I decided to pick up on Sarah J. Maas' YA high-fantasy novels. It freaking ruined my life when I realized I had to wait a whole 30 days for the newest installment to come out. Just watch me writhe in pain, guys... I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I think I've managed to drag myself out of complete fangirl phase after forcing myself to read some contemporaries (Anna and the French Kiss and Fangirl... Fitting, haha), but still. It's too awesome. The first book was meh, emphasizing more on the flimsy love triangle than the action than I would've liked, but the Crown of Midnight completely blew me off my feet. So much action *cough*gottalovethosesliceanddicescenes*cough*, so much character development, and so many quotable passages. And then there was the Heir of Fire, which may or may not have leaved in a sobbing mess. I mean, Rowan. And Aedion. And Aelin. And Dorian. Oh gosh, that ending with Dorian completely shattered me. I need fellow fangirls. And help. Pls.

I have a fear of touching seatbelts during the summer.

I found out the Class of 2019 at my dream high school (as in really-want dream, not I'm delusional dream) has a demography of only 20% white people. Whooaaaa....

The scientist I interviewed is currently working on the New Horizons project! He's in charge of testing out/designing a specific function they've implemented on the craft. If I ever stop procrastinating, I might go back over the recording to help myself remember the specifics.

Ah, NBC really did their best to show their support. Both nights my family stuck around the television to watch that segment, and gosh, it was inspiring. What really amazed me was that both families reached out to help when they recognized their child's behavior being different, instead of passing it on.

A few days ago on the 16th, I participated in the International Day of Silence. It's supposed to recognize those who have to keep silent about their sexuality. At first, I just thought it was something interesting to do. It later made me realize how supportive my school is of the LGBT+ cause; every teacher gave me the OK, and every classmate was like "coolio".

Yeah, it's that project I'm currently doing. I hated the first few portions, but this interview part is just plain awesome. I don't get how people can hate science 8DDo you know what career clusters are? We're required to find our career cluster based on our interests, and make a career goal from there. I'm placed in the STEM cluster by their survey (which, other than STEM, is completely inaccurate in understanding what I want). Go try it
