However, it is at that very beach where the group is enjoying themselves that a murder occurs. First appearance of Detective Tsukumo. The Detective Boys go to the Kamen Yaiba-themed beach hut with Rumi and Subaru. Shuichi disguises himself as Subaru to keep an eye on Rumi.

The police, Subaru, and the Detective Boys start to investigate the case. The evidence points to Takaki as being the culprit, but after Genta's swimsuit rips at one of the shoulders, Conan realizes the true culprit. It does not end there though—some unexpected guests arrive, causing chaos and forcing Subaru and Rumi to address them. The Detective Boys go to the Kamen Yaiba-themed beach hut with Rumi and Subaru. Shuichi appears as Subaru to keep an eye on Rumi. Rumi is reminded of Tsutomu after hearing Subaru's words and witnessing him doing jeet kune do.

It is on the 60th floor of a certain building in Tokyo that the Siren Splash is being exhibited. That precious crown is Kaito Kid's latest target. Azusa and Wakita appear to deliver food, and while Wakita tries to probe Conan into spilling information about his homeroom teacher, Rumi Wakasa, Conan seems to refuses to say too much about her. The main event though, is still Kaito Kid's heist, and magically, through even the tightest of securities, he is able to appear next to the crown and make it disappear from sight, much to everyone's disbelief. Inspector Nakamori and the other start to investigate on how Kaito Kid stole the Siren Splash. Back at Poirot Café, Amuro, with information provided by Azusa, is able to deduce part of Kid's trick with the ketchup Azusa delivered. Meanwhile, Conan struggles to identify who is Kaito Kid in disguise, but he soon figures out how the crown disappeared and finally, Kaito Kid's disguised identity. Kid is able to escape with the crown at the last second, and in the elevator, he encounters Azusa, who he uses as his double to confuse Conan. Luckily, Azusa also had Amuro on a phone call...and it will turn out to be more than just "reviewing the details of Amuro's deduction." First appearance of the Mysterious Old Man with Bird. Kogoro, Ran and Conan arrive at the Cucina Eigo restaurant. Inside, they find that the restaurant’s layout is similar to that of the Mary Celeste ship, which remains as a famous, unsolved case from the 19th-century. A crew of ten people disappeared into thin air and the ship was found adrift. All five guests in the restaurant are also missing from their seats. They find the chef Eigo Kuchiishi collapsed on the floor, with his head wounded and the word “curse” pinned on the door using a knife. Five set of footprints and shoes were found leading to a nearby lake. The police arrive and although Kichiishi cooperates, he soon disappears, having seemingly walked into the lake like the other five customers. What is the truth behind these vanishing people?

Sonoko is invited to a dance party, who then invites Ran to join her. Conan also has to follow them because Kogoro has gone out drinking with the neighborhood association. The host is Kensaku Takada, who not only is a real estate company manager, but also has experience with karate. Who would have thought that this dance party would be his last? And who could have possibly murdered him if he possessed such strength? Sleeping Sonoko has the answer.

On Yakushima Island, a group of tourists led by Ryoya Kitabeppu discover a dead corpse under the ancient Jomon Cedar tree, the victim is Yoshimi Hidaka. Two weeks later, the Mouri’s family arrives at the Yakushima island as Kogoro receives the request of Yoshimi’s father Taisei to find the murderer out of the four suspect: Kitabeppu, her ex-fiancé Taro Tsukada, and two childhood friends Kasumi Kokusho and Yuji Yamamoto. The case would develop on the next day when one of the suspects, Kokusho, falls off a cliff after seeing what is according to the Mouri’s family and Kitabeppu, a yamahime. Legend has it that if you see a yamahime, you must smile, or else it will drain all the blood out of you. It seems that this case is now as mysterious as the legend itself.

Kokusho is miraculously all right despite falling off the cliff. However, Conan notices Yamamoto when they are at the hospital for Kokusho, it turns out that he overheard that Tsukada would earn a bunch of money in a few days, which makes Kogoro believe he is the culprit. But no one can find his whereabouts, even though Kogoro and Taisei try to find him at the border while Conan and Ran are investigating the house. Soon, this case will turn into an action movie when the truth about it is revealed, in a way that could not be expected by many.

After taking a guest to a local jewelry purification ceremony, taxi driver Genki Ishikawa spots two suspicious people. He tries to invite Kogoro into the investigation, but under some peculiar circumstances, Ishikawa’s request is denied, which leaves him the option of investigating alone. Kogoro takes notice of the case through a TV news report, and joins Ishikawa in the investigation. To solve the mystery, however, it will take a combination of Ishikawa’s driving skills, Conan’s deduction wits, and of course, a tranquilized Kogoro.

Kogoro Mouri arrives at Ishikawa prefecture along with Ran and Conan, as he received a request from a woman named Yumeno Arihara to investigate a letter stating that they knew what she had done 3 years ago while she was in a band with Jotaro Tanemura, Kensuke Domon and Yoji Kinomoto. The case starts to escalate as Conan is kidnapped by a man who is later revealed to be Ryusei Inami, who wants Kogoro to bring the same people mentioned earlier. At sunset, everyone is worried as Kinomoto’s whereabouts are still unknown when Arihara receives a call from that person and decides to answer it privately, not knowing that Ran is following her. Later, when Inami is arriving at his uncle’s house to show Conan the golden skateboard, they discover that the house has been sabotaged by someone. And the footsteps coming close force them to run away in a car, not knowing that it has its brake sabotaged. Will they survive?

On the next day, Kogoro’s group is discussing the case 3 years ago when Ran suddenly mentions that Arihara met with a strange man after having a call with him yesterday, but she has been hesitant to inform Kogoro as she was concerned about Conan’s safety. Just as the suspicion for Arihara is escalating, Conan suddenly calls Ran to inform her that he is fine all along, to which he apologizes for not doing that sooner and tells everyone to wait until he arrives. Later, it is revealed that the one Conan and Inami confronted and the man Arihara met yesterday was Kinomoto, the one to actually know the truth of the case 3 years ago and is ready to bring the culprit to justice, along with the Sleeping Kogoro.

Megure notices that one of his subordinates, Sawatari, is having suspicious behaviours with a beautiful woman lately that could be related to infidelity, and the fact that Sawatari refused to explain his acts that have caused the suspicion prompts him to ask Kogoro to investigate this. The investigation splits into another direction after Conan discusses with Ran about the unusual in the footage recording Sawatari’s appearance in the Jewelry Store and the Flower Shop nearby. And from that direction, the two begin to investigate what he did in the two locations and share the truth for Megure and Kogoro, who are talking with our main characters, in this sad story.

Ayumi doesn't know what to write on her illustrated diary until a TV show inspires her, so she decided to do a small film and write the process of it. The first day, the detective boys ask for infomation about the case Mori sovled on his own. On the next day, they start asking people for more information, notably, Takagi and Chiba. For the last day of filming, it turns out that Mori accidently saw the culprit and arrest him, however, Conan notices some strange details, so the detective boys ask for Interrogation Tape. After that they, Takagi and Chiba wait for the true culprit.

The innkeepers found an unusual safe when the traditional inn is placed under remodeling, so they called 2 antiques assessors and a business man, and arising concern that someone will take the treasure in the safe away is why the Mouri’s family is seen here in the first place. The police arrive at the scene and begin to investigate, Conan starts to investigate after he hears their assessment about the scene, and deduces the case as sleeping Kogoro as usual.

The Detective Boys, Rumi and Kobayashi are cheering for Shiratori on a chess tournament, with Kobayashi giving him a knight keychain as a lucky charm. However, he lost his lucky charm somewhere after losing to Kuroda in his first round, so he has to find it. Kuroda meets up with the Detective Boys, Rumi and Kobayashi and tells Rumi that he had met her somewhere before the Burning Tent Murder Case, in which she denies. While at that moment, an arrow hits one of the participants and another participant is found dead in the toilet, holding Shiratori’s bloody lucky charm, which reminds both Kuroda and Rumi about 17 years ago. With some evidence gathered from police and the Detective Boys, Conan knows who is the culprit behind the murder. Kobayashi gives Shiratori a lucky charm to cheer him on in his Chess Tournament. The Detective Boys go to a chess tournament to encourage Shiratori. Rum appears.

Conan begins to deduce the case, with the help of Kuroda letting Agasa in with the item that demonstrates the case happens earlier and finishing Conan’s deduction. The tournament is cancelled afterward, so the Detective Boys, Rumi and Kobayashi decide to wait for Conan as Kuroda has asked Conan to have a talk with him privately about a case that coincides with the case Conan saw and investigated before. The story reveals that Kuroda was there when they were killed and Rumi was their missing bodyguard. While they are waiting, Rumi, who knows that someone is watching her, decides to leave but accidentally breaks Kobayashi’s parachute, so Rumi suggests using hers as a replacement later. From the outside, we can see Korn and Chianti waiting to kill Rumi as Rum confirms that she was the one he accidentally left out 17-year ago. Rumi is revealed to be Amanda's missing bodyguard, Asaka and Kuroda is revealed to be ex-officer at NPA. The Detective Boys go to a chess tournament to encourage Shiratori. Rum orders his subordinates to eliminate Rumi. Kuroda reveals that he met Amanda and her bodyguard 17 years ago in Juke Hotel, USA.

Continuing the story, Amanda tells Asaka to go to Kohji's room and retrieve her missing knight piece, but she also asks Asaka for a favor. Upon meeting with Kohji, he describes that Amanda may have deeper intent with the request she has given Asaka, and they would quickly find out exactly what. Meanwhile, Kuroda struggles to contact Amanda, and starts to think that she may be in danger. The events of Rum’s malicious plan continue to unfold as Kuroda retells the truth from 17 years ago. In order to save Asaca from Rum, Amanda kills herself by swallowing APTX 4869. Kohji gives a shogi piece of Watchtower Bishop to Asaka as a lucky charm and sacrifices himself to save her. The Detective Boys go to a chess tournament to encourage Shiratori. Rum blackmails Amanda by threatening Asaca. He kills Kohji using APTX 4869. A flashback reveals the truth behind the case from 17 years ago.

Continuing the story, Kuroda is trying to take Asaca away to ask other local police when he sees Rum and his subordinate. Later, he is pursued by them but luckily survives from an accident, as there are also too many witnesses around, and Asaca is probably safe, for now. Back to the present, Chianti is seen laughing after she saw news about a person performing robbery. Conan is deducing about the case of 17 years ago when he checks the phone and sees Agasa has been calling him, he asks Kuroda for a moment. Agasa says they will be going to the restaurant early, but Rumi had gone home, and not without accidentally breaking Kobayashi’s parachute. Suddenly his phone ran out of battery, effectively preventing him from warning others about the danger. Rumi uses Kobayashi as a bait and defeats Korn and Chianti. The Detective Boys go to a chess tournament to encourage Shiratori. Desperate after failing to kill Rumi, Rum wants to use APTX 4869 to 'turn back the clock on his right eye'. Conan talks with Akai about the shooting. Akai tells him that Tsutomu went to America 17 years ago to investigate Kohji's murder at the request of Kohji's father. A flashback reveals the truth behind the case from 17 years ago.

Today, Genta is helping Ginpachi Unagi Shop owner Shigeru Unagizuka deliver goods because his leg is injured when he meets Conan, Haibara, Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi playing soccer. However, while Genta is explaining to everyone about Midsummer Ox Day and the tradition of eating eels, everyone learns that Unagizuka had been seriously stabbed and is treated in the hospital in critical condition. This makes Genta determined to find the culprit and make him pay for what he has done, and to do that, his knowledge of eels would probably need to be put to use, and of course, Conan's deduction skills as usual.

Before the Parents’ day visit at school on Wednesday the 16th, Agasa told Haibara that he would be teaching an acquaintance of his how to use the remote meeting control on that day and the time the event would occur, but Haibara did not know anything about that acquaintance yet. On that Wednesday, Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys are going to school when they decide to buy items from the nearby school supply store. There, they meet Maria Higashio, who is buying an adhesive tape attached to a dispenser, and Takuma Sakamoto, who is buying a writing pad to replace the one he broke after slipping on the edge of the tulip flower bed. Later, there is a transfer student spreading rumours about the mystery of the man-eating classroom where it involves multiple mysterious events that happened in the previous school such as: The open tool cabinet, a broken flower vase, and the burning flower bed. Surprisingly, the 3rd rumours becomes true when the flower bed that Takuma had slipped before, with one of the tulips having been accidentally trampled upon his fall, is seen burning in the lunch break. And there is only 30 minutes until lunch break is over, but Conan decides to ask Rumi and Kobayashi to give him 10 minutes so that he can solve the mystery. Conan reveals that his body hasn't grown even a millimeter, ever since he turned into a child. When he asked Haibara if this was due to the drugAPTX 4869, she denies it, though she gives him a serious look as she responds. With the impending Parents' Day visit at school, The Detective Boys encounter a mysterious flowerbed fire.

Yusaku Kudo discusses with Yukiko Kudo (disguised as Fumiyo Edogawa) about some past events, including the one revolving around Rumi and Conan, and then Yusaku tells her to be careful of Rumi before giving her the tablet she needs for parents’ day visit at school. Meanwhile, Conan reveals the trick used for the burning flower bed and the student responsible for this, which also let us know about why the student caused that fire. The principal upon learning about the incident and the students responsible for it, looks like he is about to deal with them severely like the tone of his voice even after Kobayashi asking him to forgive the students, but in fact, his punishment for those students was quite light. In addition, he also reminded everyone to quickly prepare for that subject and Kobayashi reveals an interesting tweak that resolves the issue that led to the burning flower bed. However, Rumi senses a black car that is later revealed to be taking Rum, whose malicious intent hasn’t stopped completely. What is he planning to do this time? Yusaku believes that they can't let their guard down around Rumi yet, as she is someone who would go to any lengths to achieve her goal. With the impending Parents' Day visit at school, The Detective Boys encounter a mysterious flowerbed fire. Rum is informed by his subordinates that too many innocent people would get in the way if they attacked Wakasa. He wonders why she is still teaching at the school after the previous event.

The wedding takes place in a very nice villa, and things go well at first until the end of the reception...

On the Shinkansen trip to Tokyo with Heiji and Kazuha, Iori receives a threatening call to collect a USB from a person whose fate will be Momiji’s as well if he refuses to comply. He notices the strange word from the victim’s notebook that reminds him of Tsuguri’s scandal, and the voice of the one threatening Iori reminds him of the time when he unintentionally met Momiji Ooka in the storage room of a villa where he would rest after having fought numerous scoundrels. Even though the girl was guided so that she could go home safely with Iori’s colleagues’ help, she decided to do first aid to the sleeping officer, but the two were disturbed by three other scoundrels. Heiji and Kazuha are on their way to Tokyo along with Momiji and her butler Iori. Iori met Momiji three years ago on a mission.

The outcome of the three scoundrels was not good obviously, but one of them managed to escape and is now confirmed to be the one threatening Iori. Meanwhile, a plan to subdue the criminals has already been formed and it just needs the butler to return and begin to improvise so the group can identify them. Even though it did not go out as expected as the blackmailer does not act alone, an unexpected (or is it expected) factor helped relieve the situation quite a bit. Kazami is revealed to have attended the police academy with Iori. Amuro receives a call from the Mysterious Old Man with Bird asking him to investigate Conan thoroughly. Heiji along with Conan helps Iori to solve the case. Iori met Momiji three years ago on a mission and decided to become her butler then.

Two weeks ago marked a string of strange events: A ghost is said to appear on the rooftop of a restaurant; and some prank calls aimed toward Motoko Kanazawa, who shared her accommodation with the college student Mami Mamiya. However, the ghost incidents turn out to be performed by a person who hasn’t contacted her mom for long while Kanazawa is revealed to have solved a scam in the past.

Lawyer Hiroki Oi receives a request from a customer named Kanta Tsuji to investigate the mysterious death of his friend who is also a fisherman, Takeshi Yamaoka, and he entrusts this case to the Mouri family. There are four people that Tsuji believes one of them was the murderer: A fellow fisherman named Hironobu Matsuyama; his former sister-in-law, Miku Nishino; his ex-girlfriend, Hitomi Togashi; and the Urasawa Shrine head priest, Akihide Kamikawa; while Tsuji is also a suspect himself. Later, the Mouri family notices that Togashi is following them, and it turns out that she just wants to offer her help. After Kogoro declines the offer and continues on their own, the girl notices another person acting suspiciously just like what the three perceived her earlier. The case would develop later that day when Togashi calls Kogoro and is trying to inform him that the suspicious person talked to a wall something like: “destroying evidence” when that person silences her forever.
