Victim: Kenichiro Inokoshi

Inokoshi's body was discovered sitting in a chair and leaned up against the door in the waiting room with a knife sticking out of his chest.

Time: Around 2:55PM

Cause of death: Fell from emergency stairs

Culprit: Mokichi Reizei

She was found laying on the ground outside in a pool of blood with an odd mark on her neck.

The culprit for the first murder is Hideki Tsukinogi and in the second one, Mokichi Reizei is the culprit. Tsukinogi's motive is that Inokoshi ruined his company, and Reizei motive is that Hishida claimed the hall only because her father was the previous owner.

Conan investigates and finds out that the newspaper clips were pointing to a case of murder that happened a year ago when a professor's assistant stabbed his master for stealing his research works.

Attempted Murder

Culprit: Mei Tsukuba

Mei plans to kill Eri for having withdrew from the trial of her brother.

The culprit behind the mysterious messages is Mei Tsukuba who was trageting Eri Kisaki for the past murder Hiroto Ashida had seemingly done.

Attempted Suicide

Location: HISHIDA Hall stage

Victim: Mei Tsukuba

Age: 22 years old

Offense weapons: Knife

After the truth is revealed, Mei tries to commit suicide but is stopped by Kogoro.

Aftermath

At the end, Ashida's retrial was rescheduled and this time, with Eri back again as his lawyer. Kogoro then complains about not remembering anything about the case and adds that beer still tastes good. Conan jokes that Kogoro shouldn't compare detective work to beer.

• The restaurant from The Framed Great Detective reappears along with its waitress.
• The wine Ujimori serves to Kogoro is a Sassicaia red, the same type of wine as in Miss Lonely and the Detective Boys.
