Manga to anime changes
- In manga, Onimaru destroys Tokyo Tower. In anime, it is changed to Tokyo Skytree.
- Kumo-Otoko use his plane to fly to Ganryu island. In manga, he has no budget, so he was sent to the island by Onimaru using Fujin Sword.
- As part of Kojiro's revival, Kumo-Otoko use Monohoshizao to open the space time portal and grab Kojiro's soul. This is added by the anime to connect with Yaiba's adventure to the past.
- In manga, when Yaiba was cornered by a bunch of people, he mentioned that Musashi is his master and made them run away. In anime, young Musashi appeared and introduced himself.
- In manga, Namako-Otoko knew about the year from a wanted poster. In anime, he asked young Musashi.
- In manga, Yaiba met Otsu first, who was also looking for Musashi. Yaiba then search for him while defeating many people. In anime, Otsu is already waiting at his house.
- The interval between Yaiba's first meeting with young Musashi and Musashi's battle with Kojiro is changed to seven days instead of tomorrow in manga. As a result, the scenes where young Musashi and Yaiba training together is added in anime.
