Meanwhile, there is an slightly unfriendly atmosphere between the owner of the restaurant, and Saizu, a real estate company president who has been wanting to tear down the ramen restaurant for his own purposes. With tension in the air, and the steamy Death Lord Noodles on deck,a seemingly impossible murder suddenly occurs! Katsumasa Ogura and Sayo Ohashi are introduced.

However, soon after they arrive, a man is found dead in the parking lot. Conan reluctantly teams up with their new friend, another high school detective, to solve the case, but there's something strange about him... First appearance of Masumi Sera. 1) Sonoko asks whether Ran has given her reply to Shinichi's confession that he made in London , upon telling her that she hasn't yet Sonoko tells Ran to quickly give him a reply or else he will think Ran has feelings for someone else, she also notes that Shinichi's a lot of popularity among females so there could be rivals. 2) An unknown male starts flirting with Ran on the bus telling her he also has business at Haido Hotel, Conan(Shinichi) look on in jealousy and thinks to himself saying he better be telling the truth.

After investigating the case, Masumi tells her deduction. However, she makes mistake in her last sentence on purpose. Unaware Conan makes a deduction via his cellphone using Shinichi's voice. Masumi feels something weird about this and decided to investigate more about this. On the next day, Ran and Sonoko is shocked by Masumi's present at school as a new transfer girl student. 1) Conan feels that he has met Masumi before. 2) Conan feels that Masumi made an erroneous deduction on purpose so that Conan would have to call as Shinichi to solve the case. 3) In the last scene, Masumi is revealed to be female, as well as a new transfer student in Ran's class.

After school, Masumi goes to Kogoro's Detective Agency with Ran and Sonoko. She keeps questioning about Conan and wants to meet him but Conan is at Professor Agasa's house, preparing for a camp with Detective Boys. As she is leaving, three women and a man appears at the agency. The man threaten Kogoro to solve a case with a pistol and bomb. Conan makes a call to Ran's cellphone after the Detective Boys said that they see that Ran walks with an unknown guy. Ran hangs up the cellphone and talks normally. However, Masumi takes the phone and close it with a trick so that Conan is still in contact. Masumi requests the bomber to tell the case situation again so that Conan can hear as well. However, they were busted after the bomber realizes the trick. However, Conan uses Shinichi's voice to make the bomber trusts him. Masumi shows interest in learning about Conan and Sleeping Kogoro.

Conan uses Shinichi's voice to get the bomber to trust him to solve the case, while Ran questions what Shinichi is doing with Conan's phone. The bomber lets out key pieces of information that lead Conan to understand the naming scheme used by the victim and even the identity of the murderer,but Ai tells Conan that even though he tells the bomber the name of the culprit there would be two people who would be killed at the detective agency since the bomber planned a murder-suicide. Masumi explains to Ran why she left the phone connection on she believes Conan would help with the investigation. The police snipers SAT and SIT are called in to make an assault on the bomber.

Shinichi exposes the identity of the "Rat" as Mitsui-san, but before the bomber can do anything to Mitsui-san Shinichi clarifies that he did say she was the rat but he did not say that it was Mitsui-san who killed her. Shinichi resolves the case by telling the bomber that his sister did indeed commit suicide. Shocked from the deduction, the bomber loses his cool and is consequentially tackled by Ran and Masumi. The Special Investigative Team breach the scene and subdue the bomber. All's well that ends well. Or is it really over? Conan realizes that Masumi is female.

Heiji and Kazuha have come to Tokyo to visit Ran, Kogoro, and Conan. When they are taking the public bus to the detective agency; Kazuha sees the restaurant that is famous for it's curry and remembered that her mother wanted her to get some to bring it back to Osaka. She goes to the restaurant while Heiji heads for the agency. When he arrives there and meets with Conan, Ran, Masumi, and Kogoro he gets a call from Kazuha saying that she needs help and cannot leave the restaurant because there was a murder. Masumi suggests that Heiji and "Shinichi" through Conan should have a deduction batter to see which detective is better; East or West. 1) When Conan gets that "look" after figuring out the culprit's identity, Masumi looks at him, unsurprised, and thinks, "We have a winner." (Conan does not notice.) 2) Agent Camel gets the feeling that he's met Masumi before, so he takes a picture of her (with only the side of her head showing) and sends it to Agent Jodie and Agent James Black. Jodie says she has the same feeling about "him", but Black says he has never seen "her" before. When Camel asks how he knew Masumi was female, he responds "wise man's intuition".   Camel gets involved in a murder case at a restaurant.

Conan, the Detective Boys, Haibara, and Agasa, are all watching a soccer game involving the Tokyo Spirits and Noir. The game is a thrilling sudden death game with an exciting finish! However, somewhere in the stadium, lurks a man holding a rare knife... While everyone walks out of the stadium, they see on a store television, a game involving the Osaka team, Haibara takes special interest in a certain player on the team, Higo, because his situation in soccer closely mirrors, to her, her situation with the Black Organization, though she never admits this. He is considered a "traitor" by fans, for going from one team to another, and even fans of his own team boo him when he makes errors. While Haibara and the Detective Boys are focused on the game, Conan asks Agasa about if he has new information on Sharon Vineyard, and learns that a famous japanese actress attended the funeral, but no one remembers who it was. While they watch the game on the TV, they spot a man known as a "Hooligan," a man who takes pride on starting trouble and riots in soccer matches. While everyone (Including is on a train packed with Noir and Tokyo supporters, the hooligan is found murdered, stabbed inside of the train. Inspector Megure and Detective Takagi arrive on the scene. Conan is able to narrow the suspects down to three people, but can he solve the case? And where did Haibara go? The last scene of the episode shows her walking away from everyone... First appearances of Ryusuke Higo. Takagi starts to question Conan's intelligence by asking him directly "How are you deducing like that?".

Conan spots Haibara watching the big screen TV, eyeing Higo and how he is doing. Conan tells Haibara Higo's real intentions for switching teams. Thanks to this, Conan has an idea and now can solve the case! Conan, with the help of Agasa, is able to solve the case and confront the criminal, whom committed the murder as an act of revenge against the heartless hooligan. While the man is being taken away, the Detective Boys notice that Haibara is on the other side of the train station, near a different train. Conan believes that she may be running away, due to the many odd comments she has made throughout the day, about being a traitor! Conan races to find Haibara, only to believe that it is too late... until Haibara walks up to him and explains that she was trying to find Mitsuhiko's radio, that he had accidentally dropped during the hysteria that occured when the man was murdered. Haibara feels an emotional connection with the soccer player Higo. Haibara asks Conan "You'll protect me, right?". Conan answered "Yeah..." This might state something about Haibara's feelings for Conan.

Continuing from the 1-hour special episode,Heiji receives a mysterious letter from a person who has already died but the letter was something that was posted long after the person has died.The letter invites Heiji to Osaka and encloses a key to the house of the deceased and its address which is in Osaka. And so Heiji,Kazuha,Kogoro,Ran and Conan all go to the victim's house which is in Tokyo,soon after the son of the company president (who had earlier sent the letter to Heiji) is poisoned. The detectives that have gathered begin investigating the strange manner of this case,while the police also investigates they find that there was no trace of poison in the food or drinks (which cause of the company president's son's death) Conan and Heiji begin their own investigations in the two cases and believe that a serial murderer could be behind these murders and could plan on killing someone else.But then they have a breakthrough in the case through help from some familiar faces which leads to a shocking discovery in the case. Kazuha Toyama learns about Shinichi's confession to Ran in London.

Sakurako Yonehara notices Conan has a split personality (he acts both like a normal child and like a detective). Kazuha Toyama learns about Shinichi's confession to Ran in London (Ran tells Kazuha).

Professor Agasa one day while cleaning his home finds a vase that looks like it is very old so he uploads a video to ask anyone if they can appraise it and tell him how old it is. One afternoon while preparing curry for lunch, later, when the curry gets spoiled everybody except Ayumi and the professor go to the supermarket to buy more ingredients for the curry but Ai, Mitsuhiko and Genta are being followed by someone, as it seems that Ai was on the video site message that the professor had earlier posted; when they try to contact the professor no one is answering; when they reach the professor's home they see the professor had been attacked but Ayumi is nowhere to be found. But then After sometime Ayumi is returned once again and it seems that someone was keeping a watch on the professor's house.Who could it be? Masumi asks the Detective Boys about Agasa, Haibara and Shinichi's house, and she sees Subaru sneaking a glance at her from a window. Subaru is shown to the audience as listening (by wiretap?) to Conan and Haibara about how the abductors could not have been the Black Organization.

Conan asks the professor if any strangers had come by the house he tells him that 3 groups came by,Ai asks if they talked about a cat a Russian Blue cat by chance? Conan realizes that it was the same type of cat that Ran's mom Eri has,and deduces that someone has switched the rugs. Can Conan find out who kidnapped Ayumi and switched the rugs? Conan realizes that Masumi is suspiciously interested in Haibara, and this realization seems to be indeed true.

Conan, Ran and Sonoko were invited to the opening ceremony of "Le trésor de fruits," a chocolate store. During a demonstration of how the opening cermony would be like, suddenly, a fire breaks out. Yukihiko Tsujimoto, the man that Mayuko Sakura was supposed to marry, got killed in the fire. Was this just all an accident or is this actually a case of murder? Sonoko and Ran read about a chocolate which if you eat with the one you like/love you will be together forever; Ran and Sonoko want to eat "Love Romance Chocolate" with Makoto and Shinichi (respectively) Conan/Shinichi with a deadpan look says-"But we are going to eat the chocolate together!"

On their way from watching a movie Professor Agasa, Ai,Conan and the Detective Boys find a car that is filled with toys,upon closer inspection Conan sees signs of someone trying to break into the car he enters it and there is a strong smell of paint-thinners and on the roof of the interior of the car someone has written the word "DIE" in red spray paint,It turns out the car belongs to Detective Chiba,who contacts Yumi to help with the incident,and find out that there have been other cars that have experienced the same incident.Is thee culprit someone from among the 3 victims? Detective Chiba and Naeko Miike investigate a case together. The Detective Boys group realize that the junior patrolwoman working with Yumi is Naeko Miike, Detective Chiba's first love who they saw before and try to get Detective Chiba and Officer Naeko to get closer to each other

The detective Boys tell Yumi that Detective Chiba and Naeko Miike are first love of one another and have met again,but Detective Chiba does not remember her, which makes Yumi think about all the relationships in the police department and how she needs to find quickly a boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Snake and The Organization targets the "Red Tear" ruby, which is owned by Jody Hopper. Therefore, Kaito decides to protect the ruby and its owner from The Organization. Later, Kaito meets the magician Paul, who tries to make Jody change her mind and let The Magician Troupe continue. Will Kaito manage to keep Jody and the Red Tear safe from Snake? Will he succeed to help Paul regarding Jody and the troupe? Kaitou Kid faces off against Snake and his lackeys in a showdown for the Red Tear! Saguru blushes when he sees Akako. Heist: The Red Tear Toichi told Kaito that the grandfather made the jewel for his granddaughter Jody and the secret behind why the jewel is blue and not red like usual rubies.

Later on Conan meets Kaitou Kid; he revealed he was in disguise to clear his name, who then escapes out the window. Kid appears.

As Saguru is determined to catch Spider this time, he collects enough data about Kid in order to take one step closer to Spider. Therefore, Akako foresees with her crystal magic ball that Kid will be arrested by Saguru. Akako feels the need to help Kaito, and so she decides to disguise herself as Kaitou Kid. Will Saguru succeed in catching Spider? Will Akako accomplish her plan by helping Kaito? Moreover, will Spider finish his mission by killing Kid for good? Saguru manages to discover Kid's identity. Akako, Saguru and Kaitou Kid encounter Spider, who, at the end, implies to Kid that he knows about Toichi Kuroba's death and his involvements with the organization. Akako shows fear for Kaito and helps him by disguising herself as Kaitou Kid to draw out Saguru’s suspicion of him. The Pink Sapphire

Kogoro is requested for a job by a client whose face he has never seen,curious about the case Amuro also decides to join him to learn from the investigation,then the meeting place is changed and after waiting for a long time;when they get back to the office Amuro and Conan realize that there is someone hiding in the office bathroom.It turns out that it was where the client was and was being hostage but the captor had committed suicide.But was it really a suicide? Amuro seems to have some kind of connection to Masumi.

Conan along with Serina uncovers the identity of the third robber but does not tell her the name because he does not want her to die,he tells her the reason why he came with her and how he knows that she plans to commit suicide once she gets her vengence.So makes a deal with her where he will reveal to her the identity of the third robber if she promises to surrender to the police and confess her crimes and not do anything brash. An action-packed conclusion to this case takes place! 1) Subaru Okiya tells Haibara not to "make that kind of face". 2) Subaru and Amuro stare at each other for a moment. 3) Amuro sees Masumi Sera for the first time, taking some particular interest in her. At the end of the episode Vermouth is talking on the phone with Bourbon. Bourbon could be Subaru Okiya, Tooru Amuro, or Masumi Sera.

Everything seems to be going too well it seems too contrived,is there all to this incident?But after reading some mails in the wife's cellphone circumstances get even more strange Masumi Sera sees Scar Akai near Mouri's Detective Agency and tries to chase him, but he hides, meaning Masumi knows Akai. 2)Ai Haibara remembers Subaru Okiya and thinks about how he reminds her of her sister's boyfriend, Dai Moroboshi.   It is implied that Shinichi/Conan and Masumi have met before.

They are some places that tourists can always visit like there's Confucius Temple Nagasaki - China's History's Museum, Oura Church, or Glover Garden.Ran is looking for the heart-stone,after Ran found it, they heard a scream from the house and someone cried out, "murderer!" but then a director yells "Cut!" which is when they realize a drama is being filmed but then the props master is beaten up but when asked who did this to him,before losing consciousness he points at Ran.Did she do this? Or is this connected to another case in the past?

The Nagasaki police took in the karate girl with a black belt, Ran, who was the main suspect to the station for questioning. Ran claims that she didn't do it and she was memorizing her lines alone. The police asks Ran that can someone verify it. Ran remembers that something yellow passes by her but she can't remember clearly. Conan is going to find someone who can prove Ran's innocent, and he does but why was the victim pointing at Ran then? The answer is in the numbers.
