Situation
Today is the opening day of the Moving Police box project. The Detective Boys, Haibara, Conan, and Kogoro are all there to celebrate in different ways, the Detective Boys as guests of honor, and Kogoro mainly because of the MC, Kanon Aoshima. Meanwhile, Conan and Kogoro have to pick up Ran, so Conan asks Haibara to help look after the Detective Boys.
However, while the Moving Police Box is moving, a watch robber stops them and hijacks it immediately in front of Haibara and the Detective Boys. Although the robber tries to throw away everyone's means of communication to prevent them from calling for help, Haibara still keeps her Detective Boys badge so she can signal for help to Conan.
However, Ayumi's panic when she sees the badge accidentally fall while waiting for Conan to rescue them causes them to change the way they treat the hostage. Later, by following the oranges that Haibara left behind, Conan is able to find their whereabouts.
The two injured are then taken by the ambulance, and the police come to the place where the hostages were left to investigate the two robbers. Conan also points out that the robbers seem to have disguised the mobile police station so that they could easily pass through the checkpoints. Later, an investigation into the home of one of the robbers, Hiroki Ishida, revealed that there were also accomplices, "Rindo" and Kensuke Honma. However, while questioning Honma, who admits to have not joined the said robbery, Takagi receives a call informing him that the bodies of the two watch robbers have been found in another car, meaning that someone has taken the watches?
