Conan : Detective Conan - The Eleventh Striker The trailer itself seems plain (especially compared to M-15's trailer), but the dialogue makes it seem a lot more interesting. And it appears Ran is calling Shinichi for a reason other than to have herself saved, but we'll just have to see how the movie plays out.

It's set to air on April 12th, 2012 (two days before "The Eleventh Striker" hits theaters), but I'm clueless as to the exact time or channel. Because I can't even understand conversational Japanese, I just wait for the English subs to come out. I'm guessing Heiwa Fansubs will be back for more amazing subs (they were the ones responsible for the English subbing of the live action episodes and the most recent live action special from last year).

If I heard and caught what Genta said correctly, he never said "ano kata" which is what every BO member has referred to the boss as. I think he used different words to say "that person", so I doubt Genta means the boss.

I've added M-16's theme, "Haru Uta", to the poll.

Wow, I'm extremely hyped up about this! I don't know about other people, but I actually really liked the live actions, especially the near movie length specials. And Heiji and Kazuha are going to be in this one?! This made my day, just when I thought this Friday couldn't get any better.

MAJOR UPDATE The theme song for The Eleventh Striker has been released today! It will be sung by a never before featured group called "いきものがかり" and the title of the song will be 「ハルウタ」. More details can be found on the official news website here. More news! The new theatrical trailer has been updated in certain areas around the world! If you check the website and the trailer is the same, it should be updated within a few hours! Hype!

This is another one of my far-fetched ideas, but maybe the Tokyo Spirits had something to do with the Org? Their team name, "spirits" could be referring to the alcohol. Gin, Vodka, and Tequila, the first three BO members introduced, are all types of spirits (Sherry and Vermouth are types of wine and Pisco is a brandy). If we assume Gosho planned on having an early ending, then we can see that the Tokyo Spirits were first introduced in Episode 10 or Chapters 68 to 71, which is really early on in the series. When he realized he had no need to end DC soon, Gosho dropped the Tokyo and BO connections and tied them instead with Tottori. That's just a random theory I had one day, and I'm not entirely sure how he planned on making them related to each other.

I'm extremely pleased with this opening. The art and visuals are pretty plain and simple of course, you can't really expect much from an ending anyway. It's better than My Best Friend, because at least the scenes change a bit. My biggest praise for this has to be the song. I absolutely love grram's style of singing. I'm looking forward to their mini-album release and hope they continue their partnership with Detective Conan. It's been way too long since there's been a new band that has stepped up and continued a steady relationship with DC.

There are a few notable things/anomalies about the poster: 1. Megure, Shiratori, and Sonoko are on the poster. Megure was on the posters of M-1 (because there was a shortage of characters and they needed space fillers), M-2 (because he was one of the victims), M-4 (because the police were being targeted and were possible suspects), and M-13 (because the police were possible Irish suspects). Shiratori was on the posters of M-4 and M-13 (both times for the same reason Megure was on it). Sonoko only appeared on M-11's poster, for quite obvious reasons. Unless you're Conan, Kogoro, Ran, Shinichi, or the Detective Boys, you aren't given a spot on the poster unless you're really important. And for all three of those characters to be on the same poster means they're important. That's just my guess and until we actually get more trailers out and eventually the full movie, nothing is set in stone. 2. Once again, Haibara is wearing a Big Osaka jersey. Mitsuhiko decided to pair up with Genta and Ayumi (what a traitor). Not that significant, just wanted to point it out. 3. Conan has a red wrist band on. Maybe it's an admission wrist band that everyone is required to wear. Of course, everyone else's left wrist is conveniently blocked out. Not sure if this is significant to the plot. We're just going to have to wait and see. 4. Something red is sticking up from behind the score board. Judging from Ran's positioning, I'm guessing that red thing is her cell phone. After a quick search online, I found this picture to confirm my findings. We're just going to have to wait and see if this affects the story plot at all or not.

This information is already on the wiki (thank you Skyechan), but I decided to create a topic about it. So, this new ending that airs really soon (February 4th) is by a band called "grram". I haven't heard of them before. I can't really say whether or not it'll be a good ending song. I tried doing research, but it's extremely difficult and I haven't been able to dig out anything. If anyone is more familiar with this band, feel free to enlighten the rest of us. I only dug up this album cover and I put it below and on the wiki. It doesn't really tell much. You can't even see the faces of the members, though there appears to be three men and one woman. I'm hoping that it'll be a good choice to go with another new band, but only time will tell.
