  1. Now that I think about it, not only Sharon's mysterious "husband" was suspicious, but there was also another one, who had a connection with the Vineyards. Remember in Volume 34, File 344, page 10, Agasa told Conan about what had happened at Sharon's "funeral". An inexperienced reporter came up to Chris and asked her some sensitive questions about her private life: So again, as usual, I would ask the exact same questions: Who the hell is that guy ? And more importantly... Does he really exist ? (Remember that every information about him was just rumors, and like Sharon's husband, he could just have been another disguise of Vermouth). Of course I'm not saying anything about him being the Boss, but there may be a possibility that he's BO-related.
  2. I also wonder if "Tooru Amuro" is even his real name ?
  3. China blocks Youtube, Dailymotion, Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot, Imageshack.... and many more. So if you find those sites inaccessible, don't get surprised.
  4. 糟糕 !!! 考试的时候跟我的生日一样 !!!!! =_______=

  6. Something like these ?
  7. Whisper to his ears: "Nice try, Kaitou Kuroba...."

  9. I think that for some unknown reasons, Gosho doesn't want to make the readers (or Conan) suspecting him yet. Especially if this whole Sera - Amuro thing is actually the beginning of a completely new arc, instead of the Okiya - Bourbon arc conclusion. Also, I don't think that it's quite a good time to obviously reveal a character to be "Bourbony" at this moment, right before the big 800. The readers would be like: "WTH !??? If this guy is Bourbon then who's that Okiya dude ????" It would ruin the "shocking factor" (not that I think this whole thing is very "shocking" anymore). However, Gosho still gives out a few clues. Not only his name is suspicious, but also his finance condition. He is rich enough to make Kogoro's eyes go "Yen", and he pays him for each case. Even when we don't know the exact amount, it must have been equal (or maybe much more) to Kogoro's usual fees given by his clients to make him that excited (the price of which btw is not very low). He is only a part-time waiter and an amateur detective, where the hell does he get that much money ? Of course Sera is also suspiciously rich but at least she still hints that her parents are pretty wealthy, and it also does seem that way, though I don't really believe that's where she gets her money. But the point is, even if her family is not rich, at least we still know that she has one (which may be the origin of her cash), whether she's telling the truth or lying. We even know that her mother has big.... While with Amuro, we knows completely nothing about the source of such money, let alone deducing that he's lying or not. Of course suspecting a character to be BO just because they're rich is not a very valid speculation, but with every rich characters we have known so far (The Suzukis, Renya Karasuma...), we at least know (or be able to guess) some origins of their richness (whether they're legal or not), or that their family themselves are already rich. But with Amuro, everything is ambiguous, because with his part-time jobs alone, he can hardly earn that much money for each case. Gosho never mentioned anything about his background, of if he has a family, his parents still alive or not.... I also suspect him for more evidences which Chekhov has already listed.
  10. So far, it has never been made clear whether he was really mistaken or it was just an acting (which I highly think is the case). If Sera can fake her deduction, so can he. Please note that Amuro obviously knows about the Turner syndrome. He also was the one asking Mouri to hold Banba's leg, literally. Not to mention that his theory about cutting some windbreaker and flush it into the toilet is completely ridiculous, to the point that it's unbelievable to think that it's true.
  11. Am I the only one here who is fearing that this arc....... may not end at "800" ??? So just recently introducing those two into the plot is actually "early" ? (Gosh, I so not hope that it's the case, and I bet that Wakarimashita would disagree with me though ). Just think about it, even if the next case is plot related, i.e Sera/Haibara visits Poirot and some interesting things will happen between Amuro and them. Then BAM!!! The next case, everyone's identity gets revealed. That is a little too fast, don't you think ? I somehow doubt that Gosho would go OOC to do something like that.
  12. Okay, so after reading the brand new release of the file, it does turn out that Arumo began to worked at Poirot after the case, not before it. And that is if we actually believe in his words of course. (However I doubt he's lying because anyone can easily check with other employees/the owner about that information). But there is still one thing I don't understand. Assume that Amuro is Bourbon, and he used this case as a chance to approach Kogoro (maybe even Conan), since doing that directly from the beginning might have raised suspicions (as Chekhov explained). But like Martell pointed out in the other thread, if there hadn't been any case (a suicide this time), Amuro could hardly have achieved his goal, since he had absolutely no excuse to get near Kogoro afterwards. He couldn't have revealed himself as a detective, and eventually become Kogoro's apprentice, if she hadn't killed herself (even if she was still alive and the wedding happened like normal, Amuro still could not reveal his identity to Kogoro, because Kogoro would likely tell his friend that his about-to-be-wife has been spying on him, and I doubt that the wife would want that). Okay, we can assume that Amuro didn't need any suicide/murder, since he was going to stalk on Kogoro anyway, but I can't see any method of doing that without raising any suspicion. A "clumsy" waiter, whom they have just met the first time from some random restaurant, suddenly appears at Poirot some days later. That sounds even more suspicious than just working there from the beginning. And with Conan's personality, he would likely to be keeping his eyes on such persons, even if Amuro doesn't do anything special. However, let's just go back to the main point: Either way (working there from the beginning OR after this case), Amuro would never have found any perfect excuse to get that near to Kogoro and Conan (if the suicide hadn't taken place), without letting them suspect him. Even if they doesn't find him suspicious now, they will very soon later, it is just the matter of time. P/S: Also, in the last scene, Conan comments Amuro as: "Another one of these pain-in-the-necks..." I wonder who are/is the other one(s) he's thinking about ?
  13. I also cannot live without: "The Black Demon". P/S: For people thinking I'm a schizophrenic, please notice the " symbols and the word "the"
  14. This is kind of off-topic but we all know that at the ending of the Kir arc (around 600), Gosho began the story with the scene of crows gathering near Mouri Detective Agency, as a "sigh" of their "awakening"... Since 800 is likely the end of the Okiya/Bourbon arc, I wonder if there will be any crow this time ? Even when the crows were just there for symbolism purpose, I would like to see them again...
  15. That's why I had to ask.... Anyway, I really like the new stories.
  16. (Why does this remind me so much of the "Alice is dead" game series ???)
  17. This is the list of my favorite couples from DCW: 1. Akemi x Akai: Although I'm not a very big fan of Akai myself, I like this couple the most. The main reason is that it was actually a tragical love-story, which is more unique than many other ones in DC. Speaking of uniqueness, they're also not childhood friends. 2. Kogoro x Eri: I love this couple, they're funny and interesting to the extreme XDD 3. Shinichi x Ran: Well, even when Ran has some unavoidable negative points, I still have to admire her unchange love for Shinichi and her will of continuing waiting his return. 4. Takagi x Satou: After all they've been through to become like today, it was really admirable. Also, not childhood friends. 5. Heiji x Kazuha: This couple is also funny, and pretty "slow" for that matters XD
  18. Whoever she is, I highly doubt that she's really 17-18. Therefore I chose the option: "Akai's sister (someone else)". The least reliable thing in DC is the characters' age, even when Gosho draws their name boxes ("Oh no, the 29-year-old actress Chris Vineyard is actually 50+, no, maybe even 100+... !!!!"). Sera doesn't even have one if I remember correctly.
  19. It makes sense if he has already known from the beginning. My theory is that Amuro doesn't even care about Conan or Kogoro at all. He only wants to approach them in order to investigate further about their connections with other parties (FBI, CIA, Sherry...). About the reason why he chose this random cheating case for investigation. I think that, at first, it was just for money or to kill time, since it's his cover job after all (i.e. a mere coincidence). It may sounds like a waste of time, but please remember that we don't know how highly ranked Bourbon really is. If his rank is very low, the Org. doesn't seem to need him that much (which may explain why he is not so active until now), therefore he can still has free time to do whatever he wants (much like Akemi). I also don't see anything strange with random cases for that matters (not to mention that in this one, he was required to do researches, which I think is something Bourbon would be fond of). And, even the high-ranking BO members themselves have to stay quite at times (which BTW most criminal syndicates IRL also do), because if they appear so often, there'll be a big chance that the police will take notice of their secret syndicate. Therefore, you cannot expect every BO operatives to always be busy with crimes. The most obvious proof for this is that Vermouth, a very important member, had been two actresses for a very long time without participating in missions as much as the others, and it's likely that she also starred in lame movies along with legendary ones during that period of time. Anyway, after a short time, while doing the investigation about Banba's various connections, he found out that he and Mouri were once classmates, so it was possible that he'd invite him to the party. (Please remember that to research about someone's past or childhood, taking notice of that person's relationships is a very important task, since you can find out lots of clues.) Therefore, the party was a very big chance for Amuro to get close to Kogoro and Conan. Of course if Banba hadn't invited them, Amuro could still have done many other methods to approach them, but it would take more time.
  20. Depressed for no reason
  21. I wish that by the end of this arc there won't be anything to add to the "Unresolved plots" list. Those we're currently having now is enough.
  22. Dear Anonymous, Whatever you do, please don't arrange our examination time on OR after the release date of "The Big 800". Thank you ! Signed, a nervous student.
