Part 1

It started when Conan, Haibara, Professor Agasa, and the Detective Boys are in the hotel hall, winning a cake buffet in the game "spin the wheel". And they meet Saya Kitami after the toy helicopter was put on Genta's cake, and a later while they meet Kyona Shono. Those two hate each other. In the blog, the one who will lose is heir hair would be shaved. When they heard that the room door was locked and it can't be opened, they use a master key. And they found Kyona Shono dead in the room.

Kyona Shono is killed in her hotel room.

Part 2

Conan reveals to all and the culprit is indeed Saya Kitami or Sakurako Yonehara. In one mistake to the culprit, the victim was not threatening her. It was revealing her age, and she truly regret for the crime she did.

The culprit is Saya Kitami, and she is actually 29 years old. She used a recording of Sakurako to lure Kyona into opening the door for her. The murder weapon was Kyona Shono's selfie stick, which Saya took to her own apartment. To close Kyona's apartment door and leave the card inside, she used her toy helicopter. Her motive was that she thought Kyona knew she had accidentally killed an old man in a car accident and fled the crime scene, but in fact the only secret Kyona knew was that Saya was actually 5 years older than she claimed to be.

Afterwards, Superintendent Hyoue Kuroda arrives on the crime scene, announces that Superintendent Kiyonaga Matsumoto has been promoted as Senior Superintendent, and that he will be taking his place. Conan looks on in shock and Haibara grips his shoulder in fear, as Kuroda asks for Conan's assistance even in his new position.
