Latest news Detective Conan Wakana Yamazaki, who voiced Ran Mouri since the start of the Detective Conan anime to January 2026, passes away at the age of 61. Akemi Okamura continues as the permanent, new voice of Ran Mouri. NEW! 2-hour special episode written by Takeharu Sakurai is officially titled The Counterfeit Case of Ultra 30, and will air on September 25, 2026 on Friday Road Show timeslot. NEW! Another special episode has been announced as part of a project commemorating the 30th anniversary of the anime. An original episode by Takahiro Okura titled The Murder of Thirty-One Island will be aired as the conclusion of the anniversary year. Viz Media has announced that a new 3-in-1 edition of the Detective Conan manga will be published starting Spring 2027. The new release will use the original Japanese title and character names. A collaboration between Detective Conan and Star Detective PreCure! has been announced. Conan, Kogoro, and Ran appeared in Star Detective PreCure! Episode 18, airing on May 31, 2026, while Anna Akechi/Cure Answer appeared in Detective Conan special episode The Gold-Star Answer, airing on June 6, 2026. Movie 30 of Detective Conan will feature Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri and is likely related to the Holmes' Revelation case. The domestic box office revenue for the 29th Detective Conan movie, Fallen Angel of the Highway, has surpassed 10 billion yen within a month of its release on April 10, 2026.
