Tomochi Kosaka (小坂 知 Kosaka Tomochi?) is a Japanese animator. She has been involved in the Detective Conan production since 2003.

Biography

Tomochi Kosaka began working as an animator ever since 1997, affiliated with Studio DEEN. She first participated in the production of Detective Conan in 2002, with her first contribution as key animator in Movie 6: The Phantom of Baker Street. In 2003, she participated as key animator in Opening 13: Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made, followed by Episode 344: The Convenience Store Trap (Part 2). At some point, she become freelancer, but maintained her connection with Studio DEEN and TMS Entertainment.

While Kosaka participated regularly in the movies, she rarely worked on the TV anime. She was more active on TMS's other works; notably she debuted as director in 2016 with ReLIFE. In 2019, she returned to the series as the storyboard artist and technical director for Ending 60: Sissy Sky. Since then, she frequently worked on opening and ending videos.

In 2022, Kosaka became director for the Detective Conan spin-off story Zero's Tea Time anime.
